We visited the local airfield today with Marian's family, as her sister and her husband also came down from another part of the country to see their parents. My trusty camera also decided to enjoy the day as you will see here, he always gets excited when I tell him there's going to be photo opportunities and today we had a bonus.

Of course, pre-flight checks first!

And off she goes into the sun!
What an experience it was to witness this entire procedure today and yes, she is young, but she certainly does not back down from performing her own tasks, or allowing anyone to boss here around.
And as you can see, this girl can fly with the best of them.
The part that impressed me was that she did her own pre-flight checks. She did not rely on some dumb male to do it for her.
A pity their trips are too expensive for the likes of me, as my camera would really like to go for a flip in one of these.
