Only one of our squirrels like avocado. Come and watch him in action.
He is the smallest of the squirrel clan and potters around here in the garden all day long.
A Happy Friday to all and we hope that everyone will have a super weekend.
This little guy has a sharp eye and when he is not burying nuts, he lays up in the tree keeping an eye on our study window.
He knows that we are in here, as he can see us through the window, so whenever I lay nuts out he is down in a flash.
So Marian laid some avocado skins out and I waited with my camera.
Finally here is the evidence left behind and you can see the teeth marks:)
So strange that none of the other squirrels eat avocado pear, as they are all hooked on nuts only. This little guy will even eat the dried worms that Marian lays out for the Robins.
We have a strange cat that appears here in garden and I have sprayed him with water a few times when I hear the squirrels alarm call, but now the Thrushes are gone and the Robins stick to the higher parts of the trees.
I like cats and they come to me, but not when they hunt our birds here in the garden.
Such is life here at the moment and I hope that you have enjoyed the post.
