Hello Shadow Hunters of Ecency! It is already a few weeks I don't take part in this lovely contest. Today, I witnessed the fall from the avocado tree in my backyard of a huge avocado. The avocado season is ingoing, but it is in the end. Some late avocados are the ones that are high up the tree. This one in the photo almost crashed on the ground, fortunately it landed on a soft soil and rolled over to the concrete floor. When I heard the impact, I walked over to pick it up and noticed it was offering me a shadow as a motive to post and entered the contest.
The fruit is resting under the afternoon sun creating a well defined shadow on the texture concrete ground. The avocado, judging by its color is close to be ripe and ready to eat. I think probably tomorrow I'll have it for my dinner as it is almost ready to eat in a salad spiced with garlic, onion and olive oil. That's all folks.
