The weather here hasn’t been great lately, bright and scorching in the morning, then heavy rain and strong winds at night. Stay safe, everyone. Okay, back to the topic, today I’m sharing an easy udon recipe that you just mix together in a bowl. The udon has a spicy, sweet, and slightly creamy flavor. Let’s get right to it
Ingredients:
1 package of udon noodles
2 stalks of green onions
a handful of bird’s eye chilies
sliced beef
3 tbsp chili sauce
2 tbsp chili powder
3 tbsp sweet soy sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
sesame seeds
a pinch of salt
bouillon powder
water
1 egg
Steps:
Bring water to a boil in a pot
Add the udon noodles to the pot and boil for 1 minute
Remove and drain
Boil the sliced beef in the boiling water
Add salt and bouillon powder, then cook the meat until done for 7 minutes
Place the udon noodles in a bowl
Place the cooked beef slice on top
Add sliced bird’s eye chilies and chopped green onions
Add soy sauce to the bowl
Add chili sauce and sweet soy sauce to the bowl
Add chili powder to the bowl
Sprinkle sesame seeds on top the add 4 tbsp of the beef cooking liquid
Mix the noodles and seasonings in the bowl until well combined then add 1 egg on top
