Hi bloggers and food lovers, good afternoon from here. I hope you’ve had a great day. Today I’m going to share a recipe that’s always popping up on my social media, it’s very simple and doesn’t take long to make. Today I’m making flower pancakes with fruit in the center; this time I chose strawberry slices for the filling. Okay, let’s get right to it
Ingredients:
10 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 tbsp granulated sugar
a pinch of salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
200 ml milk
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
cooking oil
strawberries
powdered sugar
Instructions:
Remove the stems from the strawberries and wash them
Set aside
Put the all-purpose flour into a bowl
Add a pinch of salt and the sugar and add the baking powder
Slowly pour in the milk
Stir until the ingredients are well combined
Crack the egg and add it to the bowl
Add the vanilla extract, then mix the batter until thoroughly combined
Add 2 tbsp of cooking oil to the batter
Before pouring it into the bottle, I strain the pancake batter to ensure there are no lumps
Slice the strawberries thinly
Heat a pan
Place the strawberry slices on top
Pour the pancake batter around the strawberries to form flower petals
Cook until done, then flip the pancake so both sides are cooked
Repeat until all the batter is used up
When finished, serve on a plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar
The flower pancakes are ready to eat
