Hi bloggers and food lovers, how are you all doing? Today I’m going to share a dish with a cute presentation, which is omurice: fried rice with tomato sauce, mixed with sausage and onion, topped with an omelet and a few quail eggs arranged adorably on top. It has a savory flavor and isn’t spicy. I made this dish for my little brother. He found it funny because he said it wasn’t hi style, but he said it tasted good. Okay, let’s get right to it

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • quail eggs (to taste)
  • boiled corn
  • black sesame seeds
  • 5 tbsp ketchup
  • 1/2 onion
  • 5 sausages
  • 1 stalk green onion
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp margarine
  • 3 scoops of rice

Instructions:

  • Prepare the quail eggs by peeling them

  • Trim a small piece off the bottom of each quail egg so they can stand upright

  • Garnish the quail eggs with boiled corn and black sesame seeds

  • Set aside

  • Melt the margarine in a pan

  • Sauté the finely chopped onion

  • Add the sausage pieces and cook until done

  • Add the rice to the pan

  • Add the ketchup

  • Stir until well combined

  • Add more ketchup if needed, then add soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to taste

  • Stir until well combined and the mixture begins to dry out

  • Add sliced green onions to the fried rice

  • Stir again until well combined

  • Turn off the heat and shape the rice using a bowl, then place it on a plate

  • Set aside

  • Crack the eggs and pour it into a bowl

  • Add a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper

  • Beat the eggs, then pour them into a pan containing melted margarine

  • Cook while stirring until the center is still slightly runny

  • Remove from heat and place on top of the fried rice

  • Top with the duck-shaped quail eggs

  • Drizzle tomato sauce around the edges
