Hola querido hiver.

Gracias a la comunidad de Hive Collectors puedo afirmar que se ha convertido en una tradición a añadir en este tiempo del año el coleccionar luces y adornos navideños a través de mi cámara. Si te apetece impregnarte del espíritu navideño te invito a que participes en la iniciativa de este mes y nos enseñes las decoraciones que salgan a tu encuentro.

Sección especial: paseando por Zaragoza en buena compañía

Las fotos que comparto a continuación corresponden al día en el que recibí la visita de @enraizar. Era la segunda vez que nos encontrábamos en persona y, al igual que en la primera ocasión, dimos un buen paseo por la ciudad y disfrutamos una jornada entre castillos, pinturas de Goya, luces de Navidad, discos de vinilo y cervezas. Una mezcla aderezada con conversaciones de todo tipo en las que Hive aparecía de vez en cuando como no podía ser de otro modo.

Calculamos el tiempo para llegar justo cuando el centro histórico encendía sus luces. Iniciamos el recorrido por la puerta trasera del Mercado Central y lo atravesamos por dentro.

🤣 Vale. Esto no es navideño, lo sé. Me pareció un juego de palabras gracioso y no pude resistirme. Espero que @mipiano me disculpe si le digo que se lo dedico personalmente... 😁

La fachada principal es prácticamente idéntica a la otra, solo que tiene algunos escalones más para llegar al nivel de la calle. Y es igual de difícil fotografiarla sin que alguien pase por delante, sea persona o vehículo.

Nuestro siguiente destino era la plaza del Pilar. Allí es donde se instala el mercado navideño. Aunque no pensábamos realizar ninguna compra, solo pasear entre los puestos y recorrer el gran nacimiento a tamaño natural que se instala junto a la catedral-basílica. (Nota para @mipiano: sí, el ángel sigue colgado en el árbol)

Nos asomamos también a la zona donde ponen las atracciones infantiles y la casa de Papá Noel. Estaba todo prácticamente igual que el año pasado.

Dejamos la plaza y recorrimos toda la calle Alfonso I, que es peatonal. El día siguiente era festivo en España, celebramos el aniversario de la votación de nuestra constitución. Creo que por eso las luces dibujaban la bandera del país, aunque no lo sé seguro.

La última parada fue el paseo principal de la ciudad. Aquí sí que han cambiado las bandas horizontales de años anteriores por unas tiras colgantes salpicadas de estrellas. En una ciudad donde suele soplar el viento fuerte no me parece muy buena idea, la verdad. De hecho, ya se han caído algunas sin consecuencias graves por suerte.

Sección miscelánea

A partir de aquí añado las piezas sueltas que he visto aquí y allá durante este mes y te cuento sobre ellas.

Esta la capturé desde el coche. No podía bajarme para hacerla en condiciones pero la quería guardar por lo bonito de los dibujos.

Tenía que acudir a una cita médica para los resultados de una prueba, que por cierto salió bien. En la sala de espera habían instalado este rincón que la hacía más acogedora y nos sacaba una sonrisa a todos los que llegábamos.

Estos dos adornos son de Jaca, en Huesca. Teníamos que hacer un recado allí y aprovechamos para hacer un poco de turismo fotográfico como ahora lo llamo, jeje. El elfo escondido está junto a la catedral y el otro adorno sobre la puerta de la ciudadela.

Paramos a comer en la ciudad de Huesca. También aquí dimos un paseo para capturar algunas imágenes mientras bajábamos la comida. En los Porches de Galicia tenían este nacimiento.

El mercadillo navideño está instalado en la plaza López Allué, donde permanece en activo la tienda de ultramarinos más antigua del país. Llevan siglo y medio atendiendo las necesidades de sus clientes.

La última incorporación a esta colección son las bolas gigantes que acompañan a una estatua de una Virgen Inmaculada. Las pajaritas de papel son un símbolo de la ciudad.

¡¡Sí, es Él !! Mi personaje favorito de la Navidad. Ahora sí, ya estamos todos y la podemos celebrar. 😁

Hi, dear hiver.

Thanks to the Hive Collectors community, I can say that it has become a tradition at this time of year to collect Christmas lights and decorations through my camera. Special section: strolling through Zaragoza in good company

The photos I share below are all from the day I was visited by @enraizar. It was the second time we had met in person and, just like the first time, we took a long walk around the city and enjoyed a day spent among castles, Goya paintings, Christmas lights, vinyl records and beers. A mix seasoned with all kinds of conversations in which Hive came up from time to time, as was to be expected.

We calculated the time to arrive just as the historic centre was lighting up. We started the tour at the back door of the Central Market and walked through it.

🤣 Okay. This isn't Christmassy, I know. I thought it was a funny pun and couldn't resist. I hope @mipiano will forgive me if I say that I dedicate this to her personally... 😁

The main façade is practically identical to the other one, except that it has a few more steps to reach street level. And it is just as difficult to photograph without someone walking or driving in front of it.

Our next destination was Plaza del Pilar. That's where the Christmas market is held. Although we didn't plan on buying anything, we just wanted to stroll among the stalls and see the large, life-size nativity scene set up next to the cathedral-basilica. (Note to @mipiano: yes, the angel is still hanging on the tree)

We also took a look at the area where the children's attractions and Santa's house are located. Everything was practically the same as last year.

We left the square and walked along Alfonso I Street, which is pedestrianised. The next day was a public holiday in Spain, celebrating the anniversary of the vote on our constitution. I think that's why the lights spelled out the country's flag, although I'm not sure.

The last stop was the city's main promenade. Here, the horizontal bands of previous years have been replaced by hanging strips dotted with stars. In a city where strong winds often blow, I don't think this is a very good idea, to be honest. In fact, some have already fallen, fortunately without serious consequences.

Miscellaneous section

From here on, I will add the random pieces I have seen here and there during this month and tell you about them.

I took this one from the car. I couldn't get out to take a proper photo, but I wanted to save it because the patterns were so beautiful.

I had to go to a medical appointment to get the results of a test, which, by the way, came back fine. In the waiting room, they had set up this corner that made it more welcoming and brought a smile to all of us who arrived.

These two decorations are from Jaca, in Huesca. We had to run an errand there and took the opportunity to do a bit of photographic tourism, as I now call it, hehe. The hidden elf is next to the cathedral and the other decoration is above the gate to the citadel.

We stopped to eat in the city of Huesca. Here, too, we took a walk to capture some images while we digested our meal. In the Porches de Galicia, they had this nativity scene.

The Christmas market is set up in López Allué Square, home to the oldest grocery store in the country. They have been serving their customers for a century and a half.

The latest addition to this collection are the giant balls that accompany a statue of the Immaculate Virgin. Paper bow ties are a symbol of the city.
