Hazel
I should be ashamed of myself. I really should. I'm always a bit worried about it whenever someone drops by, or is summoned by moi, such as electricians, plumbers (mostly plumbers) and the like.
My house is a mess. I can't even say it's "messy but clean" right now, because on top of having moved my household 300 miles away six months ago, and finishing up theft by taxation season (is it me, or are you all doing a lot more paperwork these days?), and the unexpected arrival of a puppy in my life, I have let things GO. I can't keep up with the puppy effluvia I am most ashamed to say, mostly because I CAN'T SEE IT ON THIS WEIRDLY SHINY DARK BROWN LAMINATE FLOOR. I finally figured out I was missing some puddles of pee when I saw footprints of the bottoms of my slippers in other rooms!!
I honestly thought this dog was doing all her business outside. LOLOLOLOLOL! SHE'S A NEWBORN PUPPY. I thought she was the smartest of the smart. She is really smart though. At ten weeks old, I guess it's closer to 11 weeks now, she will come when called, sit at my feet and take a treat from my hand without using her teeth. We're working on walking, not running, while on a leash, and she's almost got it. She fetches (sometimes) and again sits at my feet to await her treat.
You'd think by now she'd know full well where and when to pee.
This is my entry to @mariannewest's daily freewrite challenge. Today's prompt is house keeping.
