The truck had been neatly tucked back up into the woods a bit. She could hear the hood still ticking from the cold so it had just parked there. As she walked cautiously past the hood her dog started to whine.
"wha.... SHIT! You scared me!"
There he was sitting on his tailgate with a bow across his lap and a quiver on his back.
"Nice day."
"yeah, uh cool. hey..." was all she could think of to say.
Her puny dog Jimmy was groveling at the guy's feet now, allowing the man to stoke his belly with the tip of a boot. Holy shit useless.
The man whistled, very loudly!
Behind her was a crashing from the woods, a slight bark,
OMG!
Out of the woods behind her came two white akitas! eieieieiyyyyiiii!
"These here are Stem and Christie" he said.
