japanese beetles
inspire me to embrace
my inner killer

I wish I didn’t
think of you every time
I wash the dishes

when you understand
governments are parasites
you can free yourself

I gave your bed away
to erase one memory
but it didn’t work

I weed my garden
the day after a good rain -
annihilation

chores pile up
like leaves on a lawn
you escape me

are you too busy?
the solution is simple -
wear one shoe too few

I think only one of these actually qualifies as a haiku, and that is the only one I didn't write this week, or even this decade. Can you tell which one I'm talking about? It sticks out to me. Maybe it's just me.

Thanks for reading my tiny thoughts!
