Carpet. Car and pet. My car is carpeted with pet hair, specifically dog hair. My upholstered chairs are carpeted with cat hair. My coats are carpeted with my hair.
Some years ago I was saving up my hair, so that I could make what was known in Victorian times as a "rat." Women would collect their hair so that they could stuff their rats in their hairdos to make their hairdos more bouffant-y. "Good idea," I thought. "I can use one of those for theatrical updos." So whenever I removed hair from my brushes, I would put the wad of hair into a teapot in my bedroom. It got pretty full. No one knew about it until one day...
My youngest, then a teenager, took a look in the teapot. She screamed, dropped the teapot, and my bedroom floor was carpeted with teapot shards along with one large clump of silvery hair. My dog made off with the clump and I never saw it again.
