Relato corto, alegoría de la lucha diaria. Cada quien tiene su guerra personal.
DAMNED IMMORTALITY
I am a soldier that doesn't never die. I seem to die but i am never enough. I fight battles without end neither begin, against immaterial armies of several historical times. And the combat is always face to face, body to body; it is more the times that there I soak my bayonet that those times that I have been able to clean its blood. Not be worth to escape, the war goes to me or lives in me. I hit my swords in those strange figures, mutilating them in an infantile and grotesque form of defending. It is infantile because the necessity doesn't exist of protecting any life, anyway I won't die for their attacks, and it is grotesque because there is not another thing to make, the rest doesn't exist, they don't desist of its made, they don't surrender their flags. Although them if they die; nevertheless, they know that others will come to occupy their place, other it will look for me and they fought until fainting, paying attention to my fearful call. While more men fall more men come to the fight place and always with the same intention: to murder me
INMORTALIDAD MALDITA
But I am a gladiator that doesn't never die. I arrive until the thresholds of the death and however its doors never open up, it don't allow me to enter. Do I want to penetrate, do I want to enter, for that reason I do touch the it cancels strongly why my requests are not listened? Tears, perspiration and blood bounded then with the foamy beard that escapes of the cracks of my desperate reason. Not leaving me another alternative that to continue with the eternal conflict, the wounds, the cuts, lesions heal in an immediate way, so that it can be damaged then again so many times, reviving and reborn unstoppable, and with them the suffering returns; an answerable obsession, not controllable, and unceasingly it possessed my soul: to liberate me of that pressure but at the same time to maintain to my side
"There is the warrior that doesn't never die! " I listened them to scream, then the huddle it descended (or it ascended, according to the position where I am) as a multicolored river, and I waited them to make the perpetual crimes. They went to my call, they came to the fatal encounter, moved by a strange curiosity or morbidity; it was as a challenge. I didn't call them with my voices but with my acts and with my presence. They knew that I existed, their parents or their friends had fallen under the weight of my weapons or torn by the hooks that patrol my person's perimeter. How more I has wanted (and I want) that not to see them come whispering vengeance and offering victories on behalf of their lovers princess! Anything I complained more than having to kill so much normal and healthy youth, like I was forced to quarter women and girls, cut old men and children. They were gloomy visions: babies in foot of war, virgins carrying lances in form of giant phallus, old men arise their canes; it didn't care which implement uses the important thing it was to cause me some pain
I ignore the reactions of my face, I could never see it. The only thing that could look was the eternal crusade "I am a soldier that doesn't never die"! I told Them, trying to persuade them so that doesn't continue with the attack. And however what achieved was that they got angry more, believing that I made fun of them and they didn't understand that it was a supplication from a desperate one. Then they attacked with more force, overflowing in a thousand spates of torture. I fell crossed by their arrows, knocked down by their bullets, I was destroyed by their coup d'état; but I didn't die, stiller infuriating them and making that you enrages with me to be defeated. Until exhausted by the tortuous and arduous task they went away, satisfied of having put an end to the legend: with the soldier that didn't never die. I stayed immobile and still; deceased apparently more alive for my own misfortune. Those were the only moments where it savored the rest, avoid and denied for me by myself, but there was always somebody that noticed of my underhanded breathing and they repeated the battle. And today I still continue in the same one
Sometimes I felt as the wind blows from the north, bringing me a cold and nauseous message, an infamous reminder of how many of them have known the edge of my knife. I observe the floor made of cadavers, parts of them, without being able to peek the growth of the grass because it is it doesn't exist under my feet. I sometimes believe that the hunger of the Death will never be satiated and that the Death ridicules of me, and that she doesn't want to come to my encounter because I feed her with a thousand same supplements or resemblances to my person and for that reason I think that her hunger will never be satiated and I will be forced to give her of eating eternally. I punish magnanimous imposed by ignorance and maintained by ignorance; ignorance of myself. I have not learned how to make the simplest things, those that common people know to complete, I don't know how to live, I don't know how to love, I don't know how to dance to the rhythm of other melodies and I don't know how to make understand my song to other, I don't know how to leave to the street like anyone, I don't know how to answer, I don't know how to speak but of suffering and desolation being able to manifest so many beautiful scenes that hide in me (I am victim of a perverse slander), I don't know how to see myself in a mirror (to tell the truth: I have never made it), I don't know when to act or when to stop to make it; and the most important thing and that it has condemned me to be a soldier that doesn't never die: I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DIE
If I have not learned how to live how will I be able to die? Anything worse than a perennial pain, anything worse than not to know what to make with your life, anything worse than to see so much people faint in your hands and for your hands. Do all deserve that prize, that rest why me not? Is it that I am maybe so special? I know that nobody will respond those questions, I am an idiot. To kill, to destroy, to raze, to murder, to live in agony, to be in death agony in life. What plot class is this? And yes agony and the suffering always precede to the death why now it is not this way?
¿Si no he aprendido a vivir cómo podré a morir?
I am the executioner of all and each one of their destinations belongs me but my fate doesn't correspond anybody. I am only a martyr that never finishes. All want to enjoy the eternity but I am fed up of her, I don't want to know more than its songs
