Hi Hivers!
Posting the final coffee creation based on Squid Game, and it's my favorite character on the show. It's Abdul Ali!
For Ali, we're going to make a Phitti Hui, a Pakistani coffee to pay tribute to Ali's roots. A Phitti Hui is the OG dalgona coffee, a creamy coffee mixture with hot milk. We're going to start with equal amounts of instant coffee and sugar.
Then we'll add in a spoonful of cinnamon, to bring out that cozy sweet vibes that Ali was throughout the show.
Add in a little hot water, and we can then start whisking. Traditionally, this coffee is hand beaten, and it takes effort to make it. And even then, it may not turn out great. It's rather similar to Ali's journey, laboring so much for his family, but not receiving the rewards out of all his efforts.
Back to the coffee, you can beat it by hand of course, but I'm gonna use a milk-frother which does the same job faster.
You'd want to whisk it until it gets to this amazing creamy texture.
Then you'll add in hot milk to the mixture.
To top it all off, I'm gonna sprinkle in a bit more cinnamon, and then stab in a cinnamon stick (just to represent how Ali was stabbed in the back during the show, hais)
