A crisp morning after a damp night. Very windy and cool, but no rain was forecast, and I’d finished the job on the other side of town yesterday, so today I was able to hop on my bike and head over to Volkspark Jungfernheide for a leisurely morning walk. Once I got there, the sun came out, and it was very pleasant overall, not just for a few rounds of interval walking. Yesterday’s storm provided me with a photo opportunity in the form of a seriously thick broken branch blocking one of the paths. I tried to capture the scale of it as best I could.
Ein frischer Morgen nach feuchter Nacht. Sehr windig und kühl, aber es war kein Regen vorausgesagt und der Job am anderen Ende der Stadt war gestern abgeschlossen, also konnte ich mich heute aufs Rad schwingen und für einen entspannten Morningwalk zum Volkspark Jungfernheide düsen. Dort eingetroffen kam auch die Sonne raus und es war insgesamt sehr angenehm, nicht nur für einige Wiederholungen Intervall-Walking. Ein Fotomotiv hat mir der gestrige Sturm in Form eines amtlich dicken abgebrochenen und einen der Wege versperrenden Ast geliefert. Ich hab versucht das das Ausmass so gut es geht einzufangen.
