A cold and gray January morning with temperatures around 0 degrees Celsius and a risk of black ice or freezing rain. So, to be on the safe side, no bike ride to Jungfernheidepark, as usual on Sundays. Instead, a nice long walk around Schleusenland with interval walking and breathing and meditation exercises at the large shiplock weir. It was nice to clear my head with the water noise. Just like the gray heron sitting there relaxed in the ditch, taking the day slowly. Otherwise, there were lots of squirrels scurrying around the palace gardens again this morning, and of course the usual suspects were flying around, including the royal swan family.

Ein kalter und grauer Januarmorgen um die 0grad und glatteis bzw. blitzeisgefahr. Also sicherheitshalber keine Radtour zum Jungfernheidepark, wie üblich Sonntags. Dafür eine schöne grosse Schleusenlandrunde im Intervall-Walking und mit Atem- und Meditationsübungen am großen Schleusenwehr. Schön den Kopf freirauschen lassen. So wie der Graureiher auch ganz entspannt dort im Graben sitzt und den Tag langsam angeht. Ansonsten waren heute Morgen wiedermal viele Eichhörnchen überall im Schlosspark am herumflitzen und natürlich waren auch die üblichen Verdächtigen Vögel am herumfliegen inklusive der königlichen Schwanenfamilie.
