Just when I thought my last hours in Frankfurt would be uneventful, something pretty cool happened. Despite the light rainy weather, which thankfully wasn't cold or windy, I decided to visit that nice little island on the River Main again. This time, though, I stumbled upon something I hadn't noticed before—hidden between the island and the shore, amidst all the greenery, was an old, kind of overgrown barge. It was such an unexpected and unusual sight, like a secret treasure in the city, and it made for a perfect surprise as my final memory of the week in frankfurt before i headed to the train back home.
