In an ancient age full of war and slaughter, where you could breathe the smell of blood in the air accompanied by screams and despair throughout the infinite. A group of survivors from many parts and regions of the country live in a dark and forested town somewhat removed from the war. All of them agreed to build a fortress to protect them from all those relentless attacks that haunted them.

The sounds of explosions, gunshots and screams could be heard despite how far away they were from the city. There were about twenty people inside the fortress, food was scarce, medicine was needed and some weapons would not be superfluous. They chose the fastest of the group for a search and seizure mission to bring back; food, medicine, weapons, ammunition or other necessities.
Three o'clock in the morning, the search and plunder commission leaves; there are seven selected and one of them was the leader, since he knew the whole place including the city very well. From the fortress to the city it took about forty-five minutes (on foot), and suddenly everything that was overwhelming in the atmosphere calmed down. They arrive in the city, everything is strangely alone and totally destroyed, without wasting time they take advantage of the situation to loot.

To speed things up, they decide to split into two groups. The looting begins, with a group of four heading to the hospital for medicine and a first aid kit, and another group of three going to an armory not far from the hospital. When the group of four entered the hospital they realized that there were many corpses in the corridors, blood on the walls, the lights were flickering; there was very little light and only the short circuit generated by the bulbs was heard.

They do not pay attention to the pile of corpses that were passing by and desperately begin to look for something that can serve them, when suddenly.... The dead begin to rise and make a sound as chilling as that of a person regurgitating their entrails, they tried to dialogue with them but when they saw them in their eyes they realized that they had no soul and that they were simply dead.

Soon they are thrown at them; hungry and in search of fresh meat, the small group of people is enveloped in despair and how they could avoid the attacks of the Zombies, but in the middle of it without realizing it, they separated. As they ran they heard a loud scream coming from one of the rooms of that hospital, the scream was from the leader of the group who was in another place because he was alone when he separated.

In the midst of all the commotion are the three remaining members of the group, who are only thinking of going up to the roof to escape the Zombies, they quickly located the emergency stairs that would take them to the top of the building; the elevators were damaged, they went up to the roof and locked the door on the other side to prevent the living dead from entering, thus becoming trapped on the roof of the hospital.
