Cirugía de Banda Sagital... Avances. Como dije en una oportunidad; el 23 de mayo 2025 me realizaron una cirugía de reconstrucción de la banda sagital, del dedo índice de la mano derecha; esto, a causa de una rotura del tendón extensor que en su momento, me causó un dolor super extremo. La cirugía resultó bien; cumplí la primera fase de inmovilización, me hicieron las curas respectivas y luego, otra fase de inmovilización para luego cumplir con la etapa de fisioterapia. Resulta que la fisioterapia debía realizarse luego de quitar la inmovilización y los respectivos puntos; todo iba muy bien, pero por alguna razón la herida, al parecer no había cicatrizado con éxito, cuestión por la cual evitaría el inicio de las fisioterapias.

Sagittal Band Surgery... Advances. As I said in an opportunity; on May 23, 2025 I had a surgery of reconstruction of the sagittal band, of the index finger of the right hand; this, because of a rupture of the extensor tendon that at the time, caused me a super extreme pain. The surgery went well; I completed the first phase of immobilization, I had the respective cures and then, another phase of immobilization to then complete the physiotherapy stage. It turns out that the physiotherapy was to be performed after removing the immobilization and the respective stitches; everything was going very well, but for some reason the wound, apparently, had not healed successfully, which is why I would avoid the beginning of the physiotherapies.

El día que me quitaron la inmovilizacion y los puntos, la herida se veía bien; el doctor me indicó que no flexionara tanto el dedo y así lo hice; de igual manera me dió la orden para la fisioterapia que debía iniciar el 19 de junio del año en curso. Bueno; resulta que la herida se abrió un poco en la parte superficial; recordemos que también por dentro habían agarrado algunos puntos. Entonces, debido a esta situación me comuniqué con el doctor, vió la herida y me dijo que así no se podría realizar la fisioterapia; lógicamente, la herida debía estar bien cerrada para avanzar hacia ese paso.

The day the immobilization and stitches were removed, the wound looked fine; the doctor told me not to flex my finger so much and so I did; he also gave me the order for physical therapy to begin on June 19 of this year. Well, it turns out that the wound had opened up a little on the superficial part; let us remember that some stitches had also been caught on the inside. So, due to this situation I contacted the doctor, he saw the wound and told me that physiotherapy could not be performed in this way; logically, the wound had to be well closed in order to advance to this step.

Para solucionar este problema y bajar un poco el estrés que ya iniciaba en mi; el doctor me indicó unas gotas de propóleos. Esta es, de acuerdo al doctor, un tipo de resina que producen las abejas para reparar sus colmenas. Las indicaciones fueron las siguientes; lavar bien la herida con alcohol, secar y luego colocar las gotas de propóleos sobre la misma. Luego de colocar las gotas, no se debe limpiar la herida, ya que se tienen que colocar gotas tras gotas sobre la herida tres veces al día.

Este tratamiento iba a formar una costra sobre la herida, la cual no se tendría que quitar; ya que la misma se iba a caer sola y la cicatrización iba a suceder desde adentro hacia afuera. Asimismo lo hice y así sucedió; al cabo de una semana había cumplido mi tratamiento y todo había sucedido como indicó el doctor.

To solve this problem and to lower the stress that was already beginning to affect me, the doctor prescribed some propolis drops. This is, according to the doctor, a type of resin that bees produce to repair their hives. The indications were as follows; wash the wound well with alcohol, dry it and then place the propolis drops on it. After placing the drops, the wound should not be cleaned, as drops after drops should be placed on the wound three times a day.

This treatment was going to form a scab on the wound, which would not have to be removed, since it was going to fall off by itself and the healing was going to happen from the inside out. So I did and so it happened; after a week I had completed my treatment and everything had happened as the doctor indicated.

Ya la herida había cicatrizado y ahora si debían realizarse las gestiones para la fisioterapia. Actualmente; puedo flexionar el dedo un poco más; lógicamente, no puedo cerrarlo completamente, ni empuñar la mano con normalidad; pero me siento contento, porque poco a poco voy avanzando ante esta situación y estoy convencido que muy pronto estaré recuperado totalmente. De verdad que este viaje no ha sido facil, pero había que hacerlo para así, a su debido tiempo, recuperar la correcta movilidad y fuerza de mi dedo y mano derecha. The wound had already healed and now the steps for physiotherapy had to be taken. At present, I can flex my finger a little more; logically, I cannot close it completely, nor can I grip my hand normally; but I feel happy, because little by little I am making progress in this situation and I am convinced that very soon I will be fully recovered. Truly, this journey has not been easy, but it had to be done in order to, in due time, recover the correct mobility and strength of my finger and right hand.
