Secondly; we have the fabulous Victoria Justice who we know for her performances in youth and comedy shows; however, in this film she takes a giant leap as an actress, to embody a character that goes beyond what she is used to perform. For Victoria; I think it has been a challenge where she has to tackle moments of absolute tension in this psychological thriller, which leads her to mature as an actress who can perform in any aspect of the film world; follow this movie and follow her performance.

As in all films where one expects the mystery and suspense to take hold of us from the first moment; here one might think that the beginning is a little weak, but it is not so; because every minute that passes aims to fit each piece of the puzzle. In that sense; little by little the plot starts to mesh, which is based on an absolute suspicion that could be true or wrong; and it is here where the friend Grace (Victoria Justice) and her roommates Alex (Taylor John Smith) and Aria (Devon Ross); think that their strange neighbor Mr. Evers (Dermot Mulroney) hides a terrible secret that they must unveil Is he a thief; is he a murderer; does he perform satanic acts; is he innocent..., I don't know, but if you want to know about that secret, you should also find out by watching the movie.

The acting of all the characters is extremely convincing; especially that of Mr. Evers; I say this, because this character in the entire film has minimal dialogue; however, his character is interpreted in a masterful way, because it shows that without speaking, a character can generate tension, terror and anguish; there you will see him throwing looks and making gestures that instill fear in anyone. Certainly; this character with all his silence takes control of the situation and is the one who generates that game of survival in the protagonists. On the other hand; the direction plays an imperative role and its director Paul has done it very well; because making the plot take place mostly in an apartment is not easy at all, since that space is presented as a dark place with a very tense atmosphere; where the lighting and sound sharpen even more the fear felt by the characters; in short, from my point of view, that place becomes a mental dungeon for the young invaders.

This film is very interesting and invites us to analyze the power of greed and how it can change the personality of the best people. Here we see how far people can go for a little wealth; the temptation is so powerful that it breaks the sense of friendship and loyalty in all aspects. Another point that fascinated me about the film; is that it has that Alfred Hitchcock touch, because the plot is not full of that terror that appears suddenly; but, that at all times the psychological aspect is present. There are no monsters or demons; what there is at all times is that mental game that manipulates and deceives, a situation that keeps us in absolute tension; we simply do not know what is going to happen in each scene. This makes the actions of the protagonists totally out of place, since their decisions do not lead to solutions; on the contrary, they make the plot more acute and their panic makes the dangers, in certain occasions, to be generated by themselves. In general terms; for fans of this genre, it is an intriguing film that you can easily enjoy without fear of wasting your time; here you find everything, especially that climate of greed, mental game and human morality.

En tal sentido; poco a poco se va engranando la trama, la cual se basa en una absoluta sospecha que podría ser cierta o equivocada; y es aquí donde la amiga Grace (Victoria Justice) y sus compañeros de cuarto Alex (Taylor John Smith) y Aria (Devon Ross); piensan que su extraño vecino el Sr. Evers (Dermot Mulroney) oculta un terrible secreto que ellos deben develar ¿Es un ladrón; es un asesino; realiza actos satánicos; es inocente?, no lo sé, pero si ustedes quieren saber sobre ese secreto, también deben descubrirlo viendo la película.

Este descubrimiento más que ser beneficioso; se convierte en un arma de doble filo, porque tiende a aflorar en ellos el sentido de supervivencia; es aquí donde entran en escena Tovia y Claude quienes inician el juego macabro del gato y el ratón.

La actuación de todos los personajes es sumamente convincente; en especial la del Sr. Evers; digo esto, porque este personaje en toda la película tiene mínimos diálogos; sin embargo, su personaje es interpretado de una manera magistral, porque se demuestra que sin hablar, un personaje puede generar tensión, terror y angustia; allí lo verán lanzando mirada y haciendo gestos que le infunden miedo a cualquiera. Ciertamente; este personaje con todo su silencio toma el control de la situación y es el que genera ese juego de supervivencia en los protagonistas. Por otra parte; la dirección juega un papel imperativo y su director Paul lo ha hecho muy bien; porque hacer que la trama se lleve a cabo mayormente en un apartamento no es nada fácil, ya que ese espacio se presenta como un lugar oscuro con una atmósfera muy tensa; donde la iluminación y el sonido agudizan aún más el miedo que sienten los personajes; en pocas palabras, desde mi punto de vista, ese lugar se convierte en un calabozo mental para los jóvenes invasores.

Este filme es muy interesante y nos invita a analizar el poder que tiene la codicia y como puede hacer cambiar la personalidad de las personas más buenas. Aquí vemos hasta donde pueden llegar las personas por un poco de riqueza; la tentación es poderosa que rompe el sentido de amistad y lealtad en todos los aspectos. Otro punto que me ha fascinado de la película; es que tiene ese toque de Alfred Hitchcock, porque la trama no está llena de ese terror que aparece de repente; sino, que en todo momento está presente el aspecto psicológico. No hay monstruos ni demonios; lo que hay en todo momento es ese juego mental que manipula y engaña, situación que nos mantiene en absoluta tensión; sencillamente no sabemos que va a ocurrir en cada escena. Lo anterior hace que las acciones de los protagonistas estén totalmente dentro de lugar, ya que sus decisiones no llevan a soluciones; al contrario, agudizan más la trama y su pánico hace que los peligros, en ciertas ocasiones sean generados por ellos mismos. En términos generales; para los fanáticos de este género, es una película intrigante y que fácilmente puedes disfrutar sin temor a perder el tiempo; aquí encuentras de todo, especialmente ese clima de codicia, juego mental y moralidad humana.
