My kind of Parenting

Good day every at the Hive Ghana community, i hope we all are having a splendid week.
Good Parenting in a child life can't be over emphasize
It goes a long way in shaping and structuring how a child will turn out to be in the future, when he or she is now an adult.

What does parenting means?
Parenting can be defined as an act or process of Raising children and providing them with care and protection in order to ensure their healthy development into Adulthood.
It is no thought that most of the attributes we possess as adults comes through our parents and Guardians.
Most of the ill behaviour from people is usually the result of poor parenting and lack of support or parental care.

I Grew up with my parents, My Father is a disciplinarian who is very strict in dealing with us the children. We are four in the family,Three girls and One Boy. My dad method is discipline is too rigid, with no emotional support, No Father to Child time, No fun time kind of Fostering, because of this reason there is little or no communication with my dad. My mum is loving and caring she instills morals and values to us in a less tense or rigid way, we talk to her and share more of our experience with her than out dad who doesn't care much about that.

I grew to discover also that Show of affections and love was lacking in my parents, when it come to Social upbringing my mum did more jobs on that but Topics like Sex education and other important Knowledge was lacking. This brought me to the conclusion that My Child will never experience this type of parenting.

Here is some of the qualities i will possess as a parent

1. full show of Affection, Love and Care
   As a parent i will make sure the atmosphere of our home glow with love, affection and care both to my wife and the children. I will make sure everyone feels special and loved.

2. Communication
   My dad lacks communication with us, which really affected our relationship with him, He is trying to make it work now but the bonds is just not working.
   For My children i will ensure freedom of Communication, and expression especially with us the parents,
   Thet will be free to share their experiences with us, with no fear of scorn.

3. Our Home will be fun
   I will make sure our home is always fun, me and my children will play games together, crack jokes, watch movies and go out for picnics and other fun activities

4. Good Behaviour and Modest
   I will make sure i instill good characters and morals, they will learn how to speak politely, dress appropriately, Respect the elder and many more.

5. God fearing
   I will raise my children to be a believer, in a way that will please God, and their lives will reflect Gods glory.

This are just some of the ways i will love to raise my children
