The Bend Amateur Athletic Club Gymnasium now serves as a Boys and Girls club center. It opened in 1918 and was immediately put to use as a hospital during the pandemic.
The gymnasium, which is a blend of Mission and Jacobean styles, is distinguished by decorative concrete plaques that depict Native American athletes.
In the following pictures I tried to capture some of the style and plaques mentioned in the quote above from the web site.
