This little bugger seems to call this wood pile home, as he is there most days when I go to my lot to work. Also he seemed to throwing some attitude my way for disturbing his quiet. He is quite ornery and doesnt like to vacate his wood pile! He is a cutie and his colors meld into the browning leaves nicely.

Well hello friends and a Happy Market Friday to you all. I want to say I have always been a fan of Market Friday, yet it is not nearly as bright and fun without @dswigle running the Market Friday show! I hope all is well Denise and I hope we will see you soon in time to celebrate the holidays!

While this tool may look and even sound a bit naughty, I can assure you it is used to put lube in this tiny hole...

Yep right on the end of a chainsaw, the hole allows one to lube up the sprocket at the end of the bar. Now speaking of chainsaws, today we must say goodbye to the last saw I bought.

Sadly the factory certified reconditioned Husqvarna is going back. I took a chance and bought it from Ebay. They have good star ratings, but some people also got a lemon like mine. I was really disappointed. Not so much in the product as a whole, mind you, but rather in the condition of the unit they sent out to me. Husqvarna makes a fine saw, but mine would not start out of the box. I am going to do a video on my bad experience, but can you believe they did not even put in a new spark plug!

So meet the new saw. After my bum experience with Husqvarna, I decided to try a new saw instead of one that was reconditioned. I guess sometimes trying to save a buck just does not work out; I still try though. I also wanted to try a brand that I had never used before.

A lot of guys like the Echo, which is built in Japan, so I thought I would give it a go. It is cheaper than the Stihl or the Husqvarna. It even comes with a five year warranty which is crazy good!

It has nice metal kill switch. An other feature I like is the "see through" gas tank so you can tell how much fuel is left without having to open anything or even turn the saw off!

Here it is about half full.

The Echo is two inches longer in the bar than the Stihl and about a pound heavier.

The Echo also boasts of a de-compression switch that aides in starting the engine.

By the way, a couple weeks ago, I posted I had opened and started to use the Duke Cannon "eggnog" soap. There is a ton left on that bar, but I thought it would be fun to get another flavor going that is in the Christmas spirit. This smells divine!
