Well it is Thanksgiving day here in the USA. Thanksgiving has always been one of my favorite holidays. No, not just because it seems to be all about a day of eating a bit too much, however I will admit to having been guilty of that from time to time. Rather it is because it doesnt matter what religion one is or isnt, the holiday is available to you!
And just like there is no religion required, there are no pilgrims and Indians required. To me Thanksgiving is all about the harvest. While many of us like to gripe and complain about the price of food, I still believe generally here if one works, one can survive.
I am writing this as I bake the world's smallest turkey. Weighing in at a whopping 7 pounds, it is safe to say there will not be any leftovers to last a week lol.
Of course I am thankful for Hive and all the friends I have made on here. I think it is amazing to get to know people all over the world.
Whether you do Thanksgiving or not, I hope you have a wonderful day. As sad as it is, summer is over and it is "Fall Y'all"
