Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog. We have indeed come a long way, and with each passing day a new scientific invention/innovation hits our world. Technological advancement is like a moving train, but this time around the train is nonstop because I don't see technological advancements stopping hitting our world anytime soon. Every day there is something new that is developed or advanced, all to make human life better and easier. We all know how much advancement we are enjoying today. Many of our forefathers were not lucky enough to experience the level of technology we are enjoying today, and it's funny how our kids and generations to come will experience a higher and better level of technology than us.
The evolution and advancement of our world is a continuous thing, science and technology working hand in hand to make sure that life is a lot easier than how it used to be. I still remember the days of letter writing, receiving a letter from my dad about three months after the letter was written, and at that time you could not even say if the sender was still okay or something must have happened because three months is a really long time and anything can happen, and after receiving the letter with faith and hoping that they are alive and doing well, you send a reply, and then they get to receive your response to the letter after the same three months or even more. There was a breach in communication back then.
Technology came into the picture and started working on how to fix this breach in communication. First of all, we had the telephones and the pagers, but over time, we realized there was still a gap in communication because communication was only possible when the person was close to the telephone, and it was impossible to actually carry the telephone around, so they got to work again, and that is how they came up with one of the best inventions, one that has gotten all of my attention.
For me, I feel my best scientific/technological invention is the smartphone. Today there is no gap in communication unless the other person does not own a smartphone or is in an area without network coverage. Aside from that, the smartphone has made it possible such that we can keep each other posted within seconds. With smartphones, we can enjoy 5G and 4G networks, which are really fast and help to make communication even faster and better. With the help of smartphones, information spreads way faster than we can actually imagine, unlike what we used to have in the past.
Smartphones did not only make communication better and faster; they made remote work possible. In those days, you needed to go out and work before you could make some money, but today, with your smartphone and the right information, you can make money from the comfort of your room.
