Welcome to my blog and another wonderful edition of the Hive Learners' featured post. As the hive learners community celebrates its one-year anniversary of its featured post, so far we are happy for how far the community has come and the impact it has made in the lives of so many hive users, especially newbies.
I am using this opportunity to say a very big thank you to the community and to the moderators who are up and running. We appreciate your efforts. So far, so good. I cannot talk about my growth in the Hive platform without mentioning the Hive learners community. I came across the hive learners community as a newbie with just 76 hive power and a reputation of 57, but today things changed and the hive learners community played a major role.
Every topic released on the features post is: Interesting one; this makes it very difficult for one to pick the best. After so much contemplation, I was able to make a choice: just sit tight as I take you on a ride. We have come really far with the hive learners community; we have achieved so much and we hope to achieve more. Below are my favorite topics that were featured in the Hive Learners community:
Number 1: My Hometown: Ohafia People Are Unique
In this week's featured post (#HL-W47E3), we were asked to share why we feel people from our hometown are unique. I was motivated to participate because I know how unique the people of Ohafia are and I am proud to hail from there. I read beautiful entries from other users and was able to learn about other villages and other users' hometowns.
Number 2: Things I Will Be Remembered For After I Am Gone
In the hive learners prompt (#HL-W24E2), we had to talk about the legacy we will be leaving behind for our generation to come. The Beehive Learning Community is always there to remind us of the important things that we might take to be minor issues. The legacy we leave behind is what we will be remembered for, which is why we ought to work so hard to make sure our legacy has a huge impact on the lives of our generation to come.
Number 3: Love Is Priceless
In this week's prompt (#HL-W21E1), we talked about love, and we were meant to understand that love has no price tag, even though our generation made it look like it could be bought. Love is priceless; you have to earn it, not maneuver your way to get it.
Number 4: What Keeps Me Going
At some point in our lives, we get knocked down, and if we don't have a reason to keep fighting, we just stay down. In order to stay in the fight, there must be something fueling your desires; there has to be a reason why you are not giving up. That's what was discussed in this week's prompt (#HL-W18E2). My motivation to participate was to share my reason for staying in the fight and not giving up.
Number 5: My Biggest Fear
Every human being on the surface of the earth has their fears, and the only way to survive them is to learn how to overcome them or learn to live with them (cope or manage). Allowing your fears to get the best of you is one of the worst things that can happen to any human being. In this prompt, we talked about our fears and how we have managed to cope with them. It's not easy, but neither of our fears get the best of us.
After so much contemplation, I believe this is my top 5 featured post of the hive learners community. I hope you like them too.
