With cups of coffee. In bright flats.
They talk about me.
'Different '- They say.
She does not fit in.
She is strange.

With fake smiles. Mean giggle.
Fake moral. They judge.

Happy with their thoughts
That storm won't come to
Their poor little lives.
They feed themselves.

They measure their happiness
with my sadness.
Their 'safe' harbor
with my tsunami.
'Shameless- she is.'
'The wild one..'
'The one who dared..'
They never forgive sincerity and the truth.
They prefer lie because that's the thing that builds their worlds.

Observing my armor,
They wonder.
Speculating my past.My life.
The threads of which I was made.
Thinking they know me.

They would love to say
Their fake 'I feel sorry for you.'
But they can't.
My smile stops them.
And they feel anger.
'So different' - they say.

And then.
With the first sunset
And dirty cups of coffee
They are going away.
To their lives.
To their carpets.
To their side of a bed.
To their illness.
Not even knowing they are ill.
And that is their worst punishment.
