Every Warning Is An Opportunity To Change Direction Before It Is Too Late
Not every warning comes twice. And you need to understand that warnings are not punishment, rather they are opportunities. What you have to understand is that not every warning in life is meant to make you feel bad or discourage you. Sometimes, warnings can be a tool to make you reconsider your decisions, or to correct your mistakes, or to retrace your steps before things get out of hand. When something wrong is being done, a warning can be used to retrace it, so that it will not lead to undesirable consequences. But unfortunately, not everyone heed to warnings, and some people do not take it seriously until they begin to experience the consequences of their actions.

Wisdom is the ability to recognise dangers even before they arrive. A very significant sign of wisdom is the ability to recognise danger at the onset before it becomes a disaster. More so, understand that you must not experience every negative or bad thing before you can learn from it. Sometimes you can draw lessons from observing what has happened to others, it should be more than enough to help you to consider your own actions. When someone advises you about something, like business, relationship, friendship, lifestyle, etc, do not be quick to assume that they want to stop your progress or that they do not mean well for you. You have to first take time to examine their concerns. They may indeed be seeing what you may not be seeing. You should not have to wait for a roof to collapse before you pay attention to the cracks in the house.
One of the things that make people to ignore early warnings is pride. If you begin to see yourself as knowing everything, then it is a sign of pride, and it is an enemy of correction. There are people that find it difficult to accept correction because they feel they are better than everyone else. They may even think that it is a mark of disrespect to correct them. This can easily make them to make avoidable mistakes. Feeling too proud to listen to advice comes with big negative consequences. The consequences of your wrong actions will not disappear because someone has refused to heed to instructions. Sometimes, the person that is giving you the advice or the warning may not have achieved as much as you have achieved, but it does not invalidate the advice, neither does it make it worthless.
It is worthy to note that warnings can come in form of uncomfortable feelings within you, suspicious circumstances, the tiny voice inside your head, or advices from the people who genuinely care about you. As you go through life's journey, you have to understand that not every situation will demand for your attention, not every opportunity is worth going after, and not every door leads to a good place. There are some situations where it will be a better achievement to walk away instead of holding on them. This is why you have to understand when it is time to take a walk, to change direction, and try out new things. You will agree with me that it is far better to abandon a wrong journey on time than continuing in it because you are scared to turn back.

Know when to change before situations force you to change. One of the greatest mistakes that you can make is to continue ignoring warnings and good advice and hope for life to present you with a different result. Every warning will give you an opportunity to take a pause and to reflect, so as to help you to make better decisions. You do not have to wait until everything has gone south before you appreciate good advice. However, you should know that a warning is not a prediction of failure, rather it can serve to prevent failure. This is why you have to be humble enough to listen to advice and warnings.
Be wise enough to understand warnings. And then be courageous enough to effect a change when it is demanded. It is always better to make a change today than to regret the decisions of your actions tomorrow. A little warning you heed to today can be what will save your destiny tomorrow.
