Hello everyone!

This is a compilation post that will serve as a summary and status of the onboarding program. For those who are late to the party, OCD's onboarding program aims to bring more users to Hive and retain those users through the curation of posts submitted by the onboarders.

Anyone who's active in Hive is invited to apply as an OCD onboarder. Please see the details of the application process at the end of this post.

My fullname is Bé, it means "Small" in English. I'm 23 year olds. I'm a Vietnamese girl. I graduated from Vinh University in English Lingutics Department. In 4 English skills, I'm not good at writing. However, I'm passionate about sharing my stories and trips. This is the reason I'm writing this post. I'm an extrovert girl, travelling and exploring new place are my hobbies. Recently, I have just started my own bussiness, so I spend all of my time building and developing it. I’m 25 years old, I’m Brazilian and I live on an island called Vitória, Espírito Santo. It’s not a Robinson Crusoe island - google it, chatgpt, whatever - but it’s a place that taught me how to live with the ecosystem.

Hi! My name is Mary Grace Leonor, 23-year-old taking up of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Cavite State University-CCAT Campus. I am a graduating student, yay! And also, a pandemic baby because of the covid virus. When covid hit I was just a first-year student, and it is our 2nd semester when the suspension happened. During those days even though we had an online meeting I struggled so hard that I didn't learn anything at all. My mind can't focus, and a lot of distractions happened. I was diverted into making myself busy by helping my mom with our business which was a food business. After all those years, I didn't bother to practice or study coding. That is why I regretted doing that and now having a hard time but still, I am catching up with them this time. I described myself as a jolly and cheerful person even though I had bad times, still I overcome them. Achieving something even though it's small is still a big progress to step up, I am still proud of myself for becoming who I am today.

This is the introductory post here on Surfhive, a community created for surfers to share waves and ride the web3 wave.

I grew up in a beach town where surfing is in the air, in Pontal de Maracaípe, Ipojuca - PE, Brazil. I started surfing at a very young age, and when I was around 10 years old, my uncle, who was also a surfer, gave me my first surfboard. Today, surfing has become a way of life, and everyone in my household is a part of it. I am married to Tatá and have three children, Bernardo, Mateus, and Gabi.

Hello fellow Hivers! My name is Pearl. With my passion and heart to pour out my ideas, beliefs, principles, perceptions, values, and encounters through the creation of contents for articles, poems, broadcast scripts, and essays in an accurate and concise manner; I suddenly get through with Hive along the way which interests me so much to impart the journey that I’ve been through and will go through on the days that will come forth.

I have a great ability to learn and that's why almost everything I do comes from the curiosity to do something new. The routine tires me. I also carry a desire to share my ideas, thoughts and experiences with people. But I don't really know why.

I'm an analog person, I usually say that I'm Webless, I started my professional life long before the internet became popular in my country. Being here today, talking to several people who are already part of this new internet protocol, brings me a great satisfaction 😀

When I graduated in advertising, computers didn't even exist in the university, but then the first home computers started to emerge, and who here remembers a 386? 🤖 Windows 3.11??

Please take note that the stats do not reflect the current state of each onboarders as of this time because we are still catching up with this compilation post. The stats will be updated in each compilation post until it becomes up to date with the onboarding initiative.

OCD's onboarding program is conceptualized to be a powerful mechanism in attracting and retaining new content creators. Since incentives are given to active onboarders, it could be a nice income generation for those who wanted to focus more in inviting new users to Hive. If you want to be an onboarder, join us in OCD's Discord Server and write your application in #onboarder-application channel. Your application must contain the following:

Once you've applied, there will be a vetting process. We will check your on-chain activity to make sure that you can be trusted. Once you're in, you have the capacity to make an invite link using OCD's account creation token, invite anyone you think is a good addition to Hive with a quick and no SMS required account creation, nominate the posts of your invites through a special channel for curation, and get beneficiary rewards both from the users you've invited, posts like these and more benefits in the future!

Be warned that you are responsible for your invites. Meaning, their activity reflects on how you mentor them. Any suspicious activity of your invite can be a ground for your expulsion in the program. Make sure that before they start posting in Hive, you already oriented them on the activities to avoid such as plagiarism.
