Hello everyone!

This is a compilation post that will serve as a summary and status of the onboarding program. For those who are late to the party, OCD's onboarding program aims to bring more users to Hive and retain those users through the curation of posts submitted by the onboarders.

Anyone who's active in Hive is invited to apply as an OCD onboarder. Please see the details of the application process at the end of this post.

Hello! I go by the name Alice, under the username @lienric. A graduating senior high school student. I am from Laguna, Philippines. I enjoy doing a lot of things although, I am far from being considered as consistent. Yet I know that we are just trying to survive, and my pets are here to keep me alive. I write when all there is for me to tolerate becomes unbearable, or on some days I think I am a giant with hands I do not recognize.

My name is Anucha Rita Nkem but I rather like being called Nkem. It’s funny how my name acts as a really good pet name at times . I am from the eastern part of Nigeria .

I am a student of the university of port harcourt, which is located in Rivers state, Nigeria. I am very passionate about the things I care about, I love to explore and also experience life at all levels.

My name is Glovie and my husband is Stephen. We are so happy to be part of this community. We are also thankful to @patsitivity that she introduced HIVE to us. At first, we hesitated to join because we're not great writers and we are both shy couples who rarely post something on social media. But @patsitivity is very encouraging and supportive to us to give it a try. Absolutely! We love to join because we want to express ourselves more by sharing our couple experiences to inspire others to also write their own story. And here we are, writing our first introduction post. Hello! My name is Jen from the Philippines, a mom of two. In this season, I am more focused on being a mother, hence “mommyjen”. I used to work in the IT industry for almost 15 years. I got assigned to Japan before and worked in Malaysia for 8 years. I started as a software developer and ended as a project manager.

We are Kevin and Bula, thus, "Kebula", living in Japan, and we are glad to have found this space where we could blog about our memorable travel, hiking, camping, and dining experiences.

We met at a bar in Tokyo where Bula was the drunk bartender who pretended to not remember Kevin the next time he dropped by and she was sober. Lol!

This is what I really feel when I’m in my gamer mode, I can feel the power and excitement flowing through me as we defeat the enemy team. Growing up, I witnessed my cousins (kuyas) have so much fun playing computer games and it made me curious about it. They taught me how to play Dota and it was Rylai I fell in love with, I got fascinated by her beauty and skills. She’s an ice mage user and I can relate to her in so many ways.

I opt to use the screen name "Journeywithsha" because my life is a journey. As Srikanth Mahankali says Life is a journey. It’s one of the most famous phrases that we hear in our lives. It’s true because, in life, we face many heartaches. And there are also many more joys that make our hearts pleasant. It’s not a destination for happiness or sadness, but a continuous journey to experience every aspect of this life.

Please take note that the stats do not reflect the current state of each onboarders as of this time because we are still catching up with this compilation post. The stats will be updated in each compilation post until it becomes up to date with the onboarding initiative.

OCD's onboarding program is conceptualized to be a powerful mechanism in attracting and retaining new content creators. Since incentives are given to active onboarders, it could be a nice income generation for those who wanted to focus more in inviting new users to Hive. If you want to be an onboarder, join us in OCD's Discord Server and write your application in #onboarder-application channel. Your application must contain the following:

Once you've applied, there will be a vetting process. We will check your on-chain activity to make sure that you can be trusted. Once you're in, you have the capacity to make an invite link using OCD's account creation token, invite anyone you think is a good addition to Hive with a quick and no SMS required account creation, nominate the posts of your invites through a special channel for curation, and get beneficiary rewards both from the users you've invited, posts like these and more benefits in the future!

Be warned that you are responsible for your invites. Meaning, their activity reflects on how you mentor them. Any suspicious activity of your invite can be a ground for your expulsion in the program. Make sure that before they start posting in Hive, you already oriented them on the activities to avoid such as plagiarism.
