This is a compilation post that will serve as a summary and status of the onboarding program. For those who are late to the party, OCD's onboarding program aims to bring more users to Hive and retain those users through the curation of posts submitted by the onboarders.

Anyone who's active in Hive is invited to apply as an OCD onboarder. Please see the details of the application process at the end of this post.

Hello! My name is Marianne Love Custodio, but you can just call me Marianne. I'm 22 years old, and I'm currently studying Education major in Social Studies. My life so far has been a wonderful mix of learning, growing, and figuring things out, and I know there's so much more to explore in the years ahead. Life is a never-ending journey of discovery.

I’m so glad you’re here! My name is Elyssa Gween Mariz Dy, but you can call me Gween for short. This blog is where I share all the things I’m passionate about — such as personal growth, career development, relationships, and more. Whether I’m diving into a new hobby, sharing stories from my own experiences, or just offering some thoughts I hope might resonate with you, my goal is always the same: to make this space feel like a genuine conversation between us. A little about me: I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Cebu-Banilad in 2023. I took and passed my board exam in November of the same year. Currently, I’m working as a Company Nurse at Bridge Culture Incorporated. In my third year of college, I decided to pursue a career as a call center representative. My primary driving force at the time was pragmatic: I needed additional funds to pay for the frequently costly care necessities. I had to purchase a lot of items as a nursing student, including textbooks, medical supplies, stethoscopes, and uniforms. I knew I had to get a job to assist alleviate the financial load since it was genuine. Because call centers offered flexible hours, I thought working there would be a fantastic way to balance job and school.

We are seven in the family, and I am the second eldest. I have three brothers and a sister. My father works as an air conditioning and refrigeration technician in our town and sometimes in the city, while my mother is a housewife. We also have a backyard piggery business, which helps us in so many ways. This business even allowed us to repair our home after it was damaged by Typhoon Odette.

Although we lived a simple life, I wouldn’t trade my life for anything else because I have such great parents. I’ve seen it firsthand on how they work incredibly hard to provide us with the life we dream of. Raising five children with no permanent job is really crazy, and I’ve witnessed all the hard work they made just to provide all our needs. They’ve sacrificed so much for us, and their support has been a huge motivator for me to work hard, pursue my dreams, and find ways to give back to them in the future.

My name is Shakira, am new to Hive. Am a mother and wife. Am passionate about travelling, cooking, gardening and reading and creating content. Am excited to be part of this family and look forward to making many more connections here while learning more about the saturday savers club.

Good day, everyone! It is good to be here. Everything is still new to me because I am still a newbie, but I know that I will be learning a lot as the day goes by. You can call me Ryn. It is the nickname my family calls me. I am still in high school, and I am just so happy that I got introduced to Hive this early. But first and foremost, I want to tell you something about myself and my family background so that you will be able to know me a lot. I hope we will all be friends.

My name is… hold on, it's long… Olutayo Oladipo Prosper Pwapedeno Andrew. See, the first three names were given to me by my parents. Pwapedeno was given to me by the good people of the Bachama tribe in Adamawa state where I was born, and by virtue of this, I think I'm cross-cultural. I am Yoruba, but I'm also Bachama.

I'm Templar, full-stack developer with over a decade of experience working with a wide range of modern technologies. Past few years, I've thrown myself into the web3 sector: developing web3 dApps, smart contracts, playing Gods Unchained, and exploring opportunities in other projects.

My name is Jonathan Jediel, I'm a Nigerian, I was born and raised in the northern part of Nigeria, Taraba state in gashaka local government area and I'm the last in my family I'm from the family of eight including my mum and late dad. And I'll love to share about three of my siblings

Please take note that the stats do not reflect the current state of each onboarders as of this time because we are still catching up with this compilation post. The stats will be updated in each compilation post until it becomes up to date with the onboarding initiative.

OCD's onboarding program is conceptualized to be a powerful mechanism in attracting and retaining new content creators. Since incentives are given to active onboarders, it could be a nice income generation for those who wanted to focus more in inviting new users to Hive. For more information about this program, please refer to this post.

If you want to be an onboarder, join us in OCD's Discord Server and write your application in #onboarder-application channel. Your application must contain the following:

Once you've applied, there will be a vetting process. We will check your on-chain activity to make sure that you can be trusted. Once you're in, you have the capacity to make an invite link using OCD's account creation token, invite anyone you think is a good addition to Hive with a quick and no SMS required account creation, nominate the posts of your invites through a special channel for curation, and get beneficiary rewards both from the users you've invited, posts like these and more benefits in the future!

Be warned that you are responsible for your invites. Meaning, their activity reflects on how you mentor them. Any suspicious activity of your invite can be a ground for your expulsion in the program. Make sure that before they start posting in Hive, you already oriented them on the activities to avoid such as plagiarism.
