OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 808th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

GARDEN JOURNAL CHALLENGE | THE SAD PART OF MY GARDEN JOURNAL IN OCTOBER.

It's nice to be back posting in this community since I've been missing for a month I guess. Honestly speaking I'm not very active in my garden activities for a while since I decided to find a job months ago. As I mentioned in my previous blog I was currently having my training here in the City as a customer representative in one of the many BPO industries. A few months ago I was away for a couple of weeks while I'm still applying so I don't have the time for my plants. Now that I was hired already and currently having my training I decided to rent a small room near my company so it would be convenient for me because it will take 3 hours or more if I will go home every day and it will be a waste of time and money so even though I'm very sad to be away from family and also to my second babies which are my plants I made a constant decision to risk because I've been unemployed for a while already and I want to make a change since we need to strive harder because of the problems we face and also our kids are getting big and we need to provide there daily needs and their school.

It is so exhausting but very worth it.

Teaching is not only a job but this is a humble work of the heart. Being a teacher greatly requires a heart full of patience and a mind full of understanding. It takes a lot of courage, passion, and strength to be one for the sake of the learners, even if sometimes, it is so exhausting.

GREAT HIVE MEETUP ARGENTINA - GRAN HIVE MEETUP ARGENTINA BY @YETXUNI | ESP - ENG

It should be noted that I had not attended events of this type for a long time due to my distance from Hive, but I was able to relive those feelings that are impossible to explain in this new opportunity that life gives me and how not to thank God for it.

Loving hive -La importancia de expandir la comunidad, mi experiencia con el primer hive meetup argentina. [ES/EN]

On Saturday 10/1/2022, the first hive meetup in Argentina was held in the city of Buenos Aires, I had the opportunity to attend, although it took me a while to convince my boss to give me a few days off, getting a Saturday off is difficult at the moment in my work, but I managed to get my days off to attend the event, it was an experience that I did not want to miss. Also, I am lucky that when it was held in Buenos Aires, the obelisk area was not far for me, so I organized myself and my boyfriend and I went to the event together.

A COMIC STYLE ILLUSTRATION [ENG/ESP]

Some time ago a friend contacted me to make use of my artistic skills and design him a character that he would use to represent his new venture, a "foodtruck Pizza shop" 🍕; I made a first design to present it to him and detail what changes I could make to resemble the character he had in mind, he highlighted several aspects of the design that he did not like and he asked me to do it with an illustration technique comic-like.

Aroma de recuerdos // Scent of memories // LOH Contest #102

The first of them is in the Aragonese Pyrenees, specifically in the valley of Gistaín. Between the ages of nine and fourteen, during the first two weeks of July, my parents sent me on camping trips. The first two years we went to that valley.

Taking A Peek of the Plaza In A Rainy Afternoon

We were dismissed early and I still have several hours left to wander around the downtown area. I just never expected one thing, and which has never occurred to me that there is this always a change of route for the jeepneys and all of the vehicles during the Festival. They are closing the streets around the plaza area for the whole month of October. Every jeepneys which have routes within the venue will have to follow the alternative routes provided by the government.

SPENDING OUR SUNNY SUNDAY WITH FRIENDS // PREVEZA CITY

Although this weekend a friendly couple of us from our hometown came and stayed with us. It felt really good seeing some friends after three weeks and socialize. The weather was awesome this weekend full sunny and the temperature reached 30°C. That means that the conditions were perfect for a walk at the beach. The sea temperature was also perfect for swimming not hot but not cold either.

Summer Memories Walk

One of the things about summertime in the northern hemisphere is that you tend to appreciate it a bit more when it's a finite amount of time! I know that one day we will live in an area where it's summertime, or at least nice and warm, a fair bit of the year but we aren't there yet so I get to savor these moments! Lol.

🍂 October Harvests! Garden Journal Challenge 👻

Among them, the most prolific and curious, in my opinion, are bananas and plantains. Bananas belong to the Musa genus, within which about 70 species are recognized. In my orchard there are 5, 3 are bananas and 2 are plantains, all with different characteristics of growth, size and flavor, and it applies to both plants and fruits.
