OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 646th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

Probably Found One of the Succulents & Cacti Heaven on Earth 🌵 [EN - FR]

Earlier this week, fascinated by these garden visits, I went back to see some greenhouses. It was the ones in the Jardin d'Auteuil that made a strong impression on me - see the article linked just before. It was the place, the architecture of the greenhouses as much as the plant species I was able to discover that made an impression on me! But of all of them, it was really the part reserved for cacti and succulents that I really liked. It was the first one we started our visit with, but I don't think that was the reason...

The search for meaning, orientation, transforming our being and our way of seeing things; is a work that begins or should begin by de-educating ourselves or removing the patterns that society has given us through our education and culture. Deprogram and reprogram ourselves. Reset ourselves.

La angustia de una madre con su hijo enfermo ES/EN

Yesterday at about 5 o’clock in the afternoon he told me: mommy I have some nuggets on my feet and they hurt, they looked like mosquito bites, I didn’t give him much importance, half an hour later he showed me his right hand with a red sprout, they were the same nuggets on his feet. Leon started to cry and scream, which put me on alert. You may already know that moms have the nervous system to alert us if our children are in danger. The amount of hormones we produce in these situations such as cortisol and adrenaline generate feelings of desperation and high alert.

It's been Fifteen Years |EN/ES|

When I received this medal, the Rector looked at me after placing it over my head. She then said, "but what a young dentist!" Immediately, the Dean of our dentistry faculty replied, "yes, but he is one of the bests." That has been a distinctive feature which marked my early years as a freshly graduated dentist. Every time I would open the door to a new patient, he or she would say in a very high voice tone "YOU are the dentist?" Normally, patients expect someone with expertise, and a young face doesn't convey that. Every patient for the last 10 years at least doubted my age, expertise, and even some of them walked away because of mistrusting my capabilities based on my teenage look.

MARIA LUISA|| La reina de los cumpleaños de mi casa.

I can't tell you about the origin of the cake as such, as much as I would love to, because there is very little written about it. However, I have seen that in Venezuela it is not known everywhere, I have coincided in the taste for this delicacy of gods with people from the east of my country, meaning Anzoátegui, Nueva Esparta, Monagas, Bolívar and of course Sucre; in fact I met a lady recently (I will tell you about her in another story) who was from Monagas and lived in my town, and with all the pleasure in the world she told me that in her travels throughout Venezuela she never tasted a dessert as divine as this one. Needless to say that from that comment she became a special person for me hahaha, especially because her main line of business was bakery and pastry; so my dear Loraines knew what she was talking about.

"Lakers" An unforgettable experience (ENG/ESP)

Hello friends of hive. Today I come to share with you one of the most exciting experiences of my life, one in which I felt super full and happy. It was when I went to the Elite Fest at the Municipal Theater of Valencia. It is one of the most important festivals in the state of Carabobo in which they invite the most important academies of the country, and my academy was one of those invited to this wonderful festival.

HIVE is a great platform that within it develops a totally different world than I imagined at the time of entering, when I felt a little eccentric to this issue of creating content, but once you start and you acquire certain knowledge everything becomes more enjoyable and even more when you know the incredible stories of totally real people who make life within this great hive.

Visiting A Small German Village Festival

This is my first post in this community and I thought I would share my recent walk around a nearby small German village festival that we visited. The village was celebrating its 900-year anniversary and there was a lot of excitement there.

The weekend festival was apparently 2 years in the planning and took place last weekend. We decided to go during the family event time on Saturday.
