OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 605th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Turning back the hands of time, when I first noticed my shadow behind me, I got scared and curious at the same time. Many questions formed at the back of my head, just like how it was formed and why it kept on chasing me wherever I go. I even thought it was a monster that wanted to eat me. I even touched it but it's intangible that made me more curious about it. It happened when I stood below the shining sun and its rays started to cast a shadow behind me.

Dad wasn't grumpy, but he was a serious guy, who only melted at his children's witticisms, especially mine: daddy's little girl. I have always been witty, and when I was a child, of course, the mischief came from me.

The first week of June my wife and I went to Bali to commemorate the passing of my beloved father on 6-6-2022. It has been 19 years since he's gone but not forgotten. To commemorate the anniversary we decided to hold a simple ceremony at Masceti beach where we scattered my mother's ashes last year.

Today I want to show you a very striking recipe for a so-called cold soup that in our country is better known as gazpacho. It is a dish that is consumed mainly in spring and summer and whose basic ingredients are bread, olive oil and tomato. Depending on the places where it is made, other ingredients are added, including various fruits and vegetables. Today I made a cherry gazpacho. This variety of cold soup is becoming popular in the northern part of the province of Cáceres, in Spain, in the valley of the Jerte River that covers a wide area, it is a tributary of one of the main rivers in the country, the Tagus. This enclave is privileged in terms of climate and is one of the places in Europe where there is more production of this exquisite fruit, the cherry. By having such a high production of this sweet fruit, the number of recipes and uses multiplies and the ingenuity and combination with them, in different dishes and desserts, makes its special flavor stand out and appear as a surprise in the preparation of a evolving cuisine.

I had a quiet week online last week as I went down to Samui to do a little work on the wife's clinic. We aim to have it opened by the beginning of next year and are doing things a bit at a time as we we carefully follow the complex and expensive list of licensing requirements.

It's been a week since I started trying to grow yellow melon, I bought this melon from the biggest marketplace in Indonesia, Tokopedia is the market name.

One box contains only 5 yellow melon seeds. This seed is included in the super seed category because it is stated on the package f1.

I went yesterday, to water the vegetable garden of a friend that is away for a few days. It was a slightly cloudy day and the area that I was going was new to me, so I thought that it is a nice opportunity to treat it as an amusing stroll! Of course I took my camera along :)

Blessed new week peeps. There is blood 🩸 in the streets, in the rivers and in the seas… even the skies 🌌 when looking at the current state of the crypto market. But if you’ve been around this space for some time and followed the rules, you probably feel calmer than most. Me personally, I was more stressed during those hyper inflated gains we were seeing.

Confidence, or the lack of it, is something I have been struggling with my entire life and it's not just about my physical appearance but pretty much any aspect of my life, I was never confident in anything. Looking back at different stages of my life, I definitely do see a lot of improvement in my self-confidence and dealing with anxiety which helps me moving forward as I know it's something I can work on and improve. It's definitely not easy and it takes time but it's not impossible. Since it's not one of those things you do once and you're set for the rest of your life, it can be hard to evaluate how far we've come and sometimes one little thing can push us ten steps back so I would say gaining self-confidence is a process that is always ongoing, same as any other aspect of self-work. This also means we can never be late to improve ourselves and take control of the things we can control to live a better life.
