Hi all hive friends, this is my first post on hive garden #gardenjournal.
While filling my spare time I try to find activities with gardening.
It's been a week since I started trying to grow yellow melon, I bought this melon from the biggest marketplace in Indonesia, Tokopedia is the market name.
One box contains only 5 yellow melon seeds. This seed is included in the super seed category because it is stated on the package f1.
Yellow melon has a distinctive aroma and sweetness, that's why I tried to plant it in my yard.
To start first, I prepared:
- soil
- Goat dung
- Black rice
composition : 1:1:1
After mixing, put it in a polybang and place a melon seed in the middle, as shown below.
For watering I use rice washing water, rice washing water contains hormone for the growth of new roots and leaves.
After that, leave it for a week, then new shoots will come out of the yellow melon, very interesting for farming in polybags.
Let's see for the next month, melons will be harvested for the next three months
