OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 490th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Boredom is a feeling that at some point in our lives we have all had, as we feel a great emptiness, with nothing to do, without any idea at that moment, can occur by the daily routine of our life; it is what I call a dead end.

I no longer have a garden since we moved from our former house to a flat about 20 months ago ( the former house had 4 bedrooms too big to clean for a retiree like me, lololols). My 16 sqm balcony now serves as the place for my container gardening. I am used to planting in containers in my former row house. The terrace was located way up near the house roof and no slugs could come and go as they did in the downstairs garden. In the new flat, the harvest last season was very satisfactory, particularly the tomatoes and elongated peppers as well as the eggplants. Please refer to the photo of my peppers below.

I am on holidays from work since Thursday, so it has been a perfect opportunity to make a start on some much needed DIY. We bought our new house last year and as with any non new build house, there are always some things that are not to your taste. I have been busy over the nine months since we bought it and some projects so far include:

Greetings dear friends, I hope you are very well, today I am happy to participate in this 2nd activity because like many I feel that raising awareness about ASD is something that must be done in order to achieve a more equitable world, where there is acceptance and non-discrimination for all. Each person is unique and different, not just those on the autism spectrum, but everyone, we even see people on the spectrum who are so different from each other that we simply cannot categorize them all with a simple label.

A whisper tells me not to give up, to keep going, that what is in store just for me awaits me . It speaks to me of new beginnings, of justice, fairness and good feelings. He invites me to accept my reality and what I cannot control, and to stop repressing what I want and my feelings. It is time to let go, reflect and move on. I open my heart to love and extend my arms to the universe to receive all the good that I deserve, all that it has in store for me.

When I think of generosity, I remember my last birthday, which was three months ago. The whole past year has been very difficult for me due to the sudden death of my father. It was my first birthday without him. And I miss him very much. Missing is a difficult word. There is nothing we can do about it. And it never stops. It is always there to remind us how much it hurts.

And putting into practice all the above in these days most take the opportunity to go to the countryside, to the beach, swimming pool, river or somewhere to take refuge and cool off from the hot sun, we for our part could not go to any water place, however we took advantage of these days off to spend a few days at my mother-in-law's house, she lives quite far from the center of our parish.

Hi, friends of this inspiring and beautiful community I am proud to show the flowers of my garden that I have cultivated for several years. And at this time of the year, called the dry period in Venezuela, there is a great variety of plant species that begin to bloom, announcing the early arrival of the rainy season.

According to the RAE, optimism is defined as the "propensity to see and judge things in their most favorable aspect". Etymologically it is a word that comes from the Latin "optimuus" which is interpreted as "very good" or "very good". Based on this, I am going to take the license to express my concept of optimism. Whereas judging is an act of each individual, it makes it a subjective action resulting from our mental interpretations of the environment around us. Therefore, I could simplify by saying that optimism is the ability to face our environment in the most favorable way for oneself.

It's been 1098 days since we last saw each other and I wonder if I will still see you again. Its been a year since we last talk with each other and I wonder if I still crosses your mind even once in a while. This pandemic is not that worst now unlike during its first year but still traveling is a bit hard. I still want to see you, I still want to run to your loving arms and stay there forever. I wonder if its still okay to do that.
