OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1358th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

Friends, Fun & Food at Kaybees

I was checking my picture gallery and came across these awesome pictures of last year when my Dubai friend visited Pakistan and took us on a treat to share some big news. As usual, whenever he visits Pakistan, its all of a sudden and all the plans with him are planned on immediate basis without prior information or any discussion. On this day too, he picked me up and then we went to another friend’s home, picked her up and her daughter and then driving through the roads to find a suitable restaurant because he was too hungry.

Sibling Jealousy

One of the difficulties we've faced, having a child with a disability, is ensuring equity with our other child. Obviously, we love them both the same, however, one needs us to help with routine tasks more than the other, and since the diagnosis that changed our lives, we've been more than aware that keeping balance between our kids was going to be difficult, but more necessary than ever. We don't want our daughter to miss out on things because of the needs of her brother, and despite being aware of the likelihood of this, and trying our best not to let it happen, we've still found ourselves accidentally favouring our son because of the extra attention he needs.

Minutes of Wisdom - A book that left its mark on me

When I was ten years old, my maternal uncle gave me a very small book as a gift. I remember that at school I was a good student and my father was always proud of me, so some of my relatives saw me as the studious child. The truth was no big deal, I was an ordinary child, I was just a little ahead of my classmates because my dad gave me intensive classes at home. In fact, this was a topic of discussion between my mom and dad for years, as my mom said I was too young for all the information my dad was passing on to me. However, my dad felt that I could give more and he always took it upon himself to teach me math, reading, calligraphy, among other things that he considered necessary.

✨DESAYUNO 🌄: Panqueques de Remolacha 🥞💜 y galletas de merienda. 🍪😋// ✨BREAKFAST 🌄: Beet Pancakes 🥞💜 and Butter Cookies. 🍪😋

Happy day everyone. Thank God for allowing us to be here today preparing breakfast! This was my son's first day of school, he had to eat part of breakfast here and take the other half to finish eating at school. And since I didn't have money to buy him a snack this time, but I had the ingredients to make it, I decided it was a good opportunity to take pictures of this breakfast with a snack. I want to clarify that I have another post about cookies! It's practically the same recipe, but I didn't want to miss the opportunity to present these cute and delicious butter cookies that are too easy to make.

Limelight Hydrangea From Spring to Fall - by Sunscape

This is by far my very favorite Hydrangea in my gardenscape. It is a small tree in the butterfly garden directly across from my back porch which I get to enjoy seeing every single day. These photos are from early spring up until this last week showing the progression of her blossoms.

(ESP-ENG) Go back to school with a cute foami FOLDING CARTBOARD! ✏️🖍️

As many know in Venezuela at the beginning of this month began a new school year, that time as a child which I miss by the fact that I loved to go into those stores and choose the most beautiful notebooks, many colors and markers to decorate, of course I had to have a nice pencil case or pencil case to keep them and in which I was always delayed by the fact that they all seemed beautiful🤗, today I will show you step by step how to create a foami pencil case that I do not know if its durability is a full year, but at least it is an economical option to do, without further ado....

Community: Shadow Hunters

When it comes to shadow hunting, the city center is the place (Es-Eng)

October is a very special month, it is the month where we have the most celebrations in the family, and as always I usually share this great time with my friends ¨ShadowHuntersCommunity¨: We start the month with the ¨Kari¨ ¨October¨ festival, and the ¨October¨¨fest¨ then comes the birthday of my son Iván, next Sunday we celebrate Mother's Day, then we have the birthday of Maxi, my daughter's boyfriend, the following Sunday we celebrate our right to choose who governs us, days later we have the birthday celebration of my wife Gabriela, then comes the time to celebrate Brenda's birthday, the next day we celebrate my granddaughter Abigail's birthday, and we conclude the month with the celebration of “Halloween”. As I mentioned at the beginning, it is a very special month. Although I like celebrations, you have to have money for parties and gifts, and that is where my concern lies
