OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1221st compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

All of us have different passions. Some like to go to the beach and do diving, go to the mountains to do hiking, and go to the island to do trekking and kayaking. Well, it simply shows that all of us are unique. We possess different hobbies and dislikes. But it feels good when we found friends with whom we have the same likes and interests in life.

I guess its not plant related, but this BBQ area is such an intergral part of out garden i have to include some progress on it. AND i am very proud of my efforts as it is ME restoring the grill NOT my husband. Our current mission is a monumental task – refurbishing a neglected, ancient BBQ gas grill. This relic from the previous owners has accumulated years of ash, leaving it in a revolting state. However, despite its neglect, it miraculously still works, albeit with frequent flare-ups. With determination, we are scrubbing, polishing, and restoring this grill, along with the large cabinets beneath it that have started to rust. It's a laborious yet rewarding project, and we're determined to bring this centerpiece back to life for safe and enjoyable outdoor cooking.

An act of courage is when in my house I frequently point at the attention of Mary how she can improve her life by optimizing her actions, reducing wastes, improving the quality of foods we eat and so on. Sometimes I feel I literally lack of breathe when saying it and hearing some replies, but one of my major skills is definitely patience, and on the long run, Mary has very often thanked me for the inputs I gave her.

When we are living with limited resources, the choices to buy things or not depends entirely upon the needs or usage and also upon the buying ability. So many times we want to buy new things but ultimately have to give up after loooking upon certain things. Yesterday I spent entire day looking out for a new phone. My mobile handset developed a snag and its diplay started to discolour.

Happy 1st Hive birthday to me! July 9th, a year ago, I started blogging on Hive and fortunately, I am still here. 😁 Honestly, it is not easy to be consistent in posting and engaging on a platform, but I always find time to do so on Hive Blockchain. 🥰

One year. A lot of milestones, learnings, and things to be grateful for. In this blog, I will share some of my best times and experiences. 😊 Lezzgo~

The Czechs have a deep love for beer and enjoy various outdoor activities. Often, we combine the two, which raises many eyebrows. I consider myself a bit more responsible than the average person from my country, but even I gulped two beers while canoeing down the Berounka River two weeks ago. In my defense, I had them in a camp after we had safely passed the only weir on our journey, which was the most dangerous part of our trip by far. Nonetheless, I made sure to stay sober, knowing that our adventure would bring us into the town of Beroun, where we would catch a train back to Prague. The beer buffs should note that the train station in Beroun is guarded by a bear—medvěd in Czech. And since this is a #beersaturday post, you've most likely guessed that Medvěd is a name of a family brewery.

Naturally, I allow myself time together with Reny to rest and have fun, Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays are still days of relaxation for us. Compared to the past, even recently, the change made is that I'm working a lot during the nights; the consequence is that in the morning I sleep a little more and everything seems a little slower.

Greetings dear friends of Hive, I hope you are having a great weekend, today I am pleased to share with you a traditional ice cream recipe that I have been preparing since my children were small and that they loved especially my son who is the most chocoholic since he was little and when he made ice cream he was always waiting for me to make the chocolate one which was his favorite.

In me there are too many insecurities, I have a hard time getting out of my comfort zone, my mind always plays tricks on me, when I put on a type of clothing that I have never worn, everyone tells me that it looks good on me, and my brain tells me "it doesn't look good on you" for me that is already something that marks a big "X" and makes me desist from wearing it. I almost always say no to makeup, when it comes to going out, for fear that people will tell me that it doesn't look good on me.

I know it's too late to catch up monthly garden journal challenge but I just wanted to share a little improvement in my garden recently.

It was already a month past the I last updated my garden. Now there are not too many changes since what I have in my garden are just those common veggies that we usually use for instant viand or some just condiments for other dishes.
