All of us have different passions. Some like to go to the beach and do diving, go to the mountains to do hiking, and go to the island to do trekking and kayaking. Well, it simply shows that all of us are unique. We possess different hobbies and dislikes. But it feels good when we found friends with whom we have the same likes and interests in life.

THE VENUE..
Way back then, we were invited to celebrate the christening of the newly born son of our co-teacher. And of course, there was a salo-salo or gathering among the family members and friends eating together. They have lechon or roasted pig, pancit bihon, lumpia, and many more to mention. And Puso or hanging rice was also present on the table. It is another way to serve rice on woven young coconut leaves.
IT'S EATING TIME...
We had a sumptuous lunch there and all of us were having a full stomach. As you can see in the picture we ate a lot. We tried to taste all the menus they offered and served on the table. Oh, the skin of the lechon takes it all! We love them the most. After eating oily foods is better to drink soda which is why we have Coke there as our beverage. Burp! Excuse me...
GOING SOMEWHERE FOR A WALK...
My friends decided to go for a walk an hour after we ate our lunch. They don't want to go home yet. We looked for a place worthy to visit and go for a walk then. We remembered that one of our students made mentioned TITIP it's the highest mountain located in Ilihan, Tabogon, Cebu. Without any hesitation, we went there.
While walking upon going there, I was mesmerized by how refreshing the place is, full of green colors good for the eyes. There's a sugarcane plantation along the way also.
THE CAVE...
While heading up to the top of the mountain we passed by a cave there which aroused our curiosity as to what to be found inside. Without much further a do we proceeded inside and looked what was there. At first, I was hesitant to join them in going inside because maybe there are snakes or wild animals there. But I had no choice but to do the latter.
When we were inside, I just simply sat down on one of the stones there and watched my colleagues as they explored the said place. I can say that the place is preserved and maybe there was no volume of people visiting the place which is why it looks like that.
I AM CATCHING UP MY BREATH...
This was my first time walking going to the top of the mountain and I had no idea how it felt. Much more than before this, we don't have a warm-up or whatever. The moment we were halfway going on top I was out of my breath. I told them to pause for a moment until my breathing is in normal. I said to myself I will not do it again for the second time. I was in great fear at that moment then.
I FELT LIKE I'M ON TOP OF THE WORLD...
Hooray! We have reached this far. Just a piece of information I got from the locals there is that this place was renovated by Fr. Nestor Soriano and made a calvary. Before no one dare to visit here but when it was renovated there are people find time to be here. More so during the Holy Week Season. But wait our walk didn't end up here.
As we continue walking, we're so thankful for the nice weather and the green fields over there. It was such a breathtaking experience but it's okay. As they say, if you're working in Ilihan your life is not complete without going to this highest mountain they ever had. And yes! I did it!
THE AERIAL VIEW OF THE MOUNTAIN...
I am afraid of heights but during this time I conquered my fears to sit down on the cliff and afford to wear a smile. But deep inside my knees were trembling. It's fulfilling at the same time that I made it. I was able to witness how beautiful and relaxing this place is.
FRIENDS FOR KEEPS...
Indeed, we had a great walk. This adventure we had experienced was one of a kind. We ate our snacks on top. And after a couple of minutes, we went back home bringing the memories of the most unexpected walk we had in our life. Times like this should be kept and cherished. I am so glad to share this whereabout I had with my friends with you guys.
