CAVE SLUG, life elemental cards, is the key monster in the battle challenge this week. I recently took interest in these cards. When my daily quest required the selection of the life elemental monsters. The abilities opportunity and scavenger retained my attention as I took the time to analyze the cave slug battle statistics. I have purchased many cards to level up to the third grade the Cave slug in my collection. Even if the prices of the cards are rising it is still cheap to acquire many Untamed regular and common monsters in the Splinterlands cards market.

On the battlefield, Mother Khala and Lorna Shine were the two summoners in the play. The battle rulesets were Close range and Reverse speed. The mana limitation for this match was eighteen. The range where I am starting to feel comfortable since I have purchased many cards with low mana.

In southern Khymeria, near the Crystalline Harbor, there is a dank place known as Baluthar's Deep. There are stories of ancient treasures buried there in the darkness, but the most that treasure hunters typically find is a slew of hideous cave monstrosities. One of the most well-known is the Cave Slug, which hides in plain sight and devours victims quite quickly.

1 . Close range: Range attacks may be used in the first position in battles
2 . Reverse speed: Monsters with the lowest speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks.
3 . Mana cap 18
Let's open the arena and look at the lineup of both teams on the battlefield. I have displayed below the details about the match that showed two Cave Slugs on the same battlefield.

I have benefitted from the rental market system in Splinterlands but this challenge has only owned cards displayed on the board.

The lineup of the two teams was interesting especially when I consider the ruleset of the battle. The match last no more than four rounds and all monsters on the board gave their best to seize the victory.
My strategy with Armorsmith, Tower Griffin, and Cave slug worked very well. The repair ability of my Armorsmith and the protection coming from Tower griffin helped my team hold the line for three rounds. The reverse speed as the ruleset for the battle boosted all monsters in the arena with low speed statistics. Therefore, Cave slug and Parasitic Growth didn't miss any strike on the opponent monsters lineup. The scavenging ability of the Parasitic Growth was also part of my strategy since I had no healer in my lineup.

Yes, my strategy worked. In the fourth round, my opponent's cards were all defeated. Despite the presence of the healer and Clay golem, I won the battle with my repair armor combined skills.

If a similar ruleset in battle occurs I will like to keep my lineup but change the summoner Mother Khala with Lorna Shine. I have seen the divine ability in action and I would love to combine these abilities with the protect repair abilities.

I select the Cave Slug every time I get in the ruleset the reverse speed. Cave slug scavenger ability unlocks tremendous power on this life monster of the Untamed series. The price of Cave slug is not so expensive compared to other categories of cards in the same elemental of life. Therefore I will keep investing in this card and play it regularly in the battle rank, tournament, and Brawls.

Thanks for the battle challenge curation team that gives us an opportunity to present our strategies around a specific monster in action on board. My lineup team selection was based on the offensive strategy due to the battle ruleset. Thanks for reading my Battle challenge on CAVE SLUGS.
