Hey everyone, It's Noyon and today we talking about our hindu fastival Shiv Ratri. Its celebrated in honor of Lord Shiva. I'm fasting the whole day for Shiva. It's a special day for me as it gives me an opportunity to show my devotion to Lord Shiva.
I'm spending the day with some of my little brothers and we're having a great time. We woke up early in the morning and started our day with some meditation and prayer. We then prepared some special dishes for the day and spent some quality time.
Later in the day, we visited the Sitalabari temple to perform the puja. It was a beautiful experience with the temple decorated with lights ,candles and incense stick. There was no place to step in the crowd of people who came to worship in the temple. We offered our prayers with water, milk, sweets, some fruits, and flowers. And sought Lord Shiva's blessings.
After the puja, we returned home and continued our fast. We spent the rest of the day reading about Lord Shiva and discussing his teachings. We also watched some documentaries about the festival and its significance.
As the day drew to a close, we broke our fast with some holi waters and delicious food. We then spent some more time together, sharing our experiences of the day.
Shivaratri vows get rid of evil spirits. Also everyone has some problems in life, and women believe Lord Shiva is the creator so all problems can be removed by his grace. From this belief they also celebrate Shivaratri. For all these different reasons, regardless of age, caste, gender, Shivratri Vrata is observed.
Overall, it was an amazing day, and I feel truly blessed to have been able to spend it with my loved ones. I hope Lord Shiva has blessed all of you as well. Until next time, take care and stay blessed!
