Luego de que la Banda tomara aquella decisión, era momento de comenzar a prepararse para ese festival, a pesar de estar en sus días de vacaciones no podían dejar pasar demasiado tiempo, ya que solo faltaba una semana. De inmediato buscaron un estudio San Cristóbal donde pudieran ensayar, pero para su sorpresa encontraron uno muy moderno con micrófonos, amplificadores, una batería, luces, todo lo necesario. Richard fue el primero en tocar esa batería, Lucas conectó en guitarra, Tomás se sentó y Michelle simplemente pensada y dijo —Tenemos una semana—
La Banda comenzó de inmediato y por eso primero revisaron todas las canciones que habían interpretado durante la gira, donde cada una había sido especial y todavía quedaba una nueva canción que la Banda tenía allí en su repertorio. Lucas quería incluirla en el festival, Richard estaba completamente de acuerdo, Tomás pensaba que era el momento indicado y Michelle no estaba segura, ya que nunca la habían tocado y en este festival no podía haber errores.
After the band made that decision, it was time to start preparing for the festival. Even though they were on vacation, they couldn't waste any time, as there was only a week left. They immediately looked for a studio in San Cristóbal where they could rehearse, and to their surprise, they found a very modern one with microphones, amplifiers, a drum kit, lights—everything they needed. Richard was the first to play the drums, Lucas plugged in his guitar, Tomás sat down, and Michelle simply thought for a moment and said, "We have a week."
The band started immediately, so they first reviewed all the songs they had performed during the tour, each one having been special. There was still one new song that the band had in their repertoire. Lucas wanted to include it in the festival, Richard completely agreed, Tomás thought it was the right time, and Michelle wasn't sure, since they had never played it before, and at this festival, there was no room for error.
Luego de varias horas en el estudio se dieron cuenta de que todavía necesitaban ajustar muchas cosas, e incluso había errores que hacía que todo se escuchara mal. Sin embargo, detrás de todo ese proceso había algo importante y es que la Banda 17, ya no eran solamente cuatro músicos intentando cumplir un sueño, ahora los invitan para los eventos más relevantes de música, así que todo eso los hacía más fuerte.
Lograron avanzar algo y ahora venía la otra cosa más relevante y era diseñar el espectáculo, donde Michelle anotó en una hoja varías ideas, Lucas propuso comenzar con la guitarra, Richard quería jugar con las luces, Tomás quería proyectar imágenes de la gira. Cada idea era mejor que la otra y todos estuvieron de acuerdo, pero para lograrlo solo tenía siete días.
After several hours in the studio, they realized they still needed to fine-tune many things, and there were even mistakes that made everything sound off. However, behind all that process was something important: Banda 17 was no longer just four musicians trying to fulfill a dream; now they were being invited to the most important music events, and all of that made them stronger.
They managed to make some progress, and now came the next crucial task: designing the show. Michelle jotted down several ideas on a sheet of paper, Lucas suggested starting with the guitar, Richard wanted to play with the lights, and Tomás wanted to project images from the tour. Each idea was better than the last, and everyone agreed, but they only had seven days to pull it off.
Durante los siete días, todo fue marchando de la mejor manera, donde a medida que avanzaban corregían errores y lo mejor es que Tomás estaba grabando todo. El tercer y el cuarto día practicaron las canciones y escogerían algunas que formarán parte del espectáculo. El quinto y el sexto día organizaron los detalles del escenario y tenían una idea que iba a dejar a todos sorprendidos, hasta que llegó el último día y todos estaban en el estudio con una mezcla de emoción y nervios, sin embargo, hicieron ese último ensayo con una gran energía y aptitud.
Michelle miró a sus compañeros y sintió una emoción enorme, ya que estaban a punto de dar un gran paso en su carrera, además en ese trayecto han conocido grandes personas, han creado una nueva canción y habían vivido momentos que jamás olvidarían. Por eso todos ya estaban listos para ese festival y su misión era hacer que aquel festival los recordaran para siempre.
For seven days, everything went smoothly. As they progressed, they corrected mistakes, and best of all, Tomás was recording everything. On the third and fourth days, they practiced the songs and chose some to include in the show. On the fifth and sixth days, they finalized the stage details and had an idea that was going to surprise everyone. Finally, on the last day, they were all in the studio with a mix of excitement and nerves. Nevertheless, they gave that last rehearsal with great energy and skill.
Michelle looked at her colleagues and felt an enormous surge of emotion, as they were about to take a huge step in their careers. Along the way, they had met amazing people, created a new song, and experienced moments they would never forget. That's why they were all ready for the festival, and their mission was to make it a festival that would be remembered forever.
