Aquella voz quedó en la mente de todos y lo peor es que venían del otro lado de la puerta, Michelle seguía llorando y comento —Eso no puede ser verdad, yo estuve con Lucas durante siete años, donde lo vi despertar, lo vi enfermarse, lo vi sonreír. That voice lingered in everyone's minds—and the worst part was that it was coming from the other side of the door. Michelle kept crying as she said, "That can't be true. I was with Lucas for seven years; I saw him wake up, saw him get sick, saw him smile. Besides, I know how he speaks, how he walks, how he looks at me when he's angry." But the man standing there immediately asked, "And do you remember when you met him?" Michelle didn't answer; she remembered many things, but not that. The producer called out, "Shut down the system," but just then, a live feed from the hallway appeared on one of the screens, showing a young man standing in front of the door—wearing the exact same clothes as Lucas.
Michelle recognized him, and the young man shouted, "Stay away from him!" Everyone looked at the producer; they knew which of the two was lying. The producer panicked and whispered, "He can't be here; the protocol was closed seven years ago." No one knew what he was referring to; however, the lights went out again, and the only sound was the breathing of those in the room. Then the emergency lights flickered on: the door to the white room was wide open, and Lucas was no longer strapped to the chair.

Ese hombre tenía carpeta, donde la dejo y de inmediato desapareció, donde en la carpeta había una fotografía del niño que todos habían reconocido como Lucas. A su lado aparecía otro niño, idéntico al integrante de la banda que ahora temblaba junto a Michelle, además una pequeña descripción SUJETO 00: Lucas Álvarez, SUJETO 01: Lucas Álvarez. Eso era algo que no tenía sentido que existieran dos personas iguales y en ese momento el productor habló —No les cuentes eso— aun así la verdadera verdad es que —El niño que aparece en las fotografías sufrió un accidente durante los primeros experimentos. Su cuerpo murió, pero antes de que eso sucediera conseguimos registrar sus recuerdos y poder transferir esa estructura a otra persona, podríamos devolverle la vida— con eso todos quedaron sorprendidos, aun así ya ambos jóvenes tanto como Lucas como el otro entendía por qué eran iguales.
The band member who had been standing by the door began walking toward the white room, repeating only, "I don't want to go back there." Michelle approached him, certain that Lucas would listen to her; he then asked her, "Tell me what I promised you the night before I disappeared." Michelle froze as she recalled an argument they’d had over a song Lucas wanted to cut from the album—after which he had left the studio while she stayed behind to work with the others. That memory was still fresh in her mind when the man who had been declared dead appeared in the doorway of the white room.
The man was carrying a folder; he set it down and immediately vanished. Inside the folder was a photograph of the boy everyone recognized as Lucas. Beside him was another boy—identical to the band member now trembling next to Michelle—along with a brief description: SUBJECT 00: Lucas Álvarez; SUBJECT 01: Lucas Álvarez. The existence of two identical people made no sense, and at that moment, the producer spoke up: "Don't tell them that." Yet, the real truth was this: "The boy in the photographs suffered an accident during the initial experiments. His body died, but before that happened, we managed to record his memories and transfer that structure to another person—we could bring him back to life." Everyone was stunned, yet both young men—Lucas and the other—now understood why they looked exactly alike.
Todo cambio cuando una grabación fechada el 17 de octubre de 2019, donde allí apareció el productor, mucho más joven y a su lado había una mujer que Michelle reconoció inmediatamente, aunque no sabía de dónde. The woman glanced toward an off-camera door and said, "Then the system will decide which of the two is authentic." A sound emerged—not belonging to either of the two boys, but the voice of Michelle as a child.
The recording continued, and the woman remarked, "Michelle, if you ever see this, it means the project has failed; do not trust the man who tells you Lucas can come back. And, above all, do not let Subject Zero remember what you did." Everyone turned to look at Michelle; she insisted she knew nothing, but the boy beside her remembered. He said, "The night Lucas disappeared, he wasn't trying to escape the company—he was trying to escape you." At those words, Michelle recalled that very room—white, with a chair and a crying boy. It was Lucas—but there were two Lucases. One was begging for her help while the other remained silent; Michelle had to choose. Yet, from within the white room, both Lucases spoke in unison: "Because she was the first person into whom we managed to transfer a consciousness—and the only one who never woke up."
