Lucas lowered his head, unsure of how to react; at the same time, he looked at Michelle and said aloud, "You pressed it"—even though Michelle didn't remember doing so. Just then, a melody rang out—a very fast piano piece—and Michelle was the only one who recognized it, having heard it somewhere before. Seconds later, she remarked, "I wrote that song." Everyone was astonished to hear this, and the atmosphere shifted completely.
Ahora recuerda quién mató a tu hermana—
The producer ordered the music turned off; however, it was too late, for with every note, Michelle reclaimed fragments of her past. It began with a stage, two girls singing together, and a promise she had made herself—"If you ever forget who you are, listen to our song. It will lead you back to me." Overcome with emotion, Michelle began to weep; at that moment, the image of a girl who looked exactly like her appeared on the screen, seated at a piano, saying, "Sister, if you can hear me, it means a part of me still remains within you."
The music cut out, and a voice announced, "The recovery of memories threatens the stability of the experiment." The producer tried to shut everything down, but Lucas stopped him and declared loudly for all to hear, "No more lies! Tell us what you did to them!" Desperate, the producer added, "The music doesn't just preserve their memories; it is the key that keeps the original consciousness dormant." Michelle approached the piano in the room and asked, "So, if I finish playing the song, will I be able to remember everything?" Anything could happen at that point, and Lucas added, "If you play that final note, we might never be the same again." Michelle did not stop; this was the moment to uncover the truth, so she immediately began to play. But as the final melody played out, a new voice emerged—a man’s voice they had never heard before—saying, "You have finally awakened, my daughter. Now, remember who killed your sister."
