I arrived at the Khentkawes Hideout to rescue a prisoner named Rashidi for a side quest. After using Senu to locate him and the camp's treasures, I systematically eliminated the bandits, the captain, and the commander. I then carried Rashidi to safety outside the camp.
I accepted a side quest called Precious Bonds after encountering a prisoner who needed help finding a valuable missing ring. My objective was to find and rescue a man named Rashidi who held answers. According to my information, Rashidi was being held captive in a bandit camp located south of the Sphinx.
I traveled to the area and quickly approached the perimeter of the bandit camp. The game indicated that my objective was in close proximity, so I decided to call upon Senu to scout the area from above. I took control of Senu's vision to look for Rashidi, who was being kept inside a cage deep within the location.
With the layout clear, I decided to initiate my assault by taking out some of the wandering bandits. I sneaked into the shadows and began eliminating the guards one by one.
I spotted the commander practicing his combat skills with a fellow bandit, completely unaware of my presence.
I managed to ambush and eliminate the captain, ensuring the camp's leadership was weakened. And there were two more bandits around whom I had to take down first.
As I continued moving through the camp, another bandit headed in my direction. Fearing he would notice the dead bodies and panic, I targeted him first. He spotted me just as I drew my bow, but I quickly took him down using fire arrows.
Another guard rushed toward me, and I eliminated him with fire arrows as well. I followed this up by performing a stealth assassination on a final nearby bandit.
With the immediate threats cleared, I focused on securing the camp's valuables. I located the first treasure box and looted a carbon crystal from inside. I then moved to the second treasure box and emptied its contents, successfully collecting both treasures in the hideout.
The only remaining objective for the location was to deal with the commander to fully complete the area, after which I could focus entirely on rescuing Rashidi.
I moved silently towards the commander and used sleep darts on two of them. While they were incapacitated, I finished them off quickly.
However, a few remaining reinforcement bandits arrived to challenge me, forcing me to dispatch them before I could safely access the cage.
Once the area was entirely clear, I opened the cage to free Rashidi. Just like the previous prisoner, he was too weak to walk on his own. I hoisted him onto my shoulders and carried him safely out of the bandit hideout.
I set Rashidi down on the sand at a safe distance and spoke with him. Rashidi explained that he no longer possessed the ring because someone had stolen/took it from him to trade it away. To ensure his ongoing safety, Bayek told Rashidi to return to his brothers while he figured out our next move.
I'll show more of my photographic journey of the games soon, so stay tuned to my blog if you liked them.
