I spotted a powerful Phylake patrolling the desert and sent Senu to slow him down. After stealing the target's mount and executing a heavy stealth strike, a chaotic fight broke out involving hyenas and local rebels. Taking heavy damage despite using Overpower abilities, I retreated on horseback to reset the fight.
Flying Senu high above the desert, I spotted a Phylake riding along the dunes and marked him as my target, hoping to catch him before he spotted me. I sent Senu down to harass the warrior, slowing his pace while I closed the distance on horseback.
The Phylake eventually broke free from the bird and continued riding ahead, with me trailing quietly behind.
Without warning, the Phylake turned his horse around and caught sight of me. He immediately gave chase, drawing his bow to fire off arrows as we galloped across the sand. I dodged the incoming shots until he briefly lost line of sight.
Re-engaging, he charged at me again, but I deliberately backed away, luring him further out into the open desert. He lost track of me once more, giving me an opportunity to follow from a safer distance.
A wild hyena lunged out at the Phylake as he rode past, but the strong warrior dispatched the animal with ease.
Wanting to strip away his mobility, I sent Senu to harass him again. While he was distracted swatting at the eagle, I slipped in, commandeered his horse, and rode it off to leave him stranded on foot.
Parking the mount a short distance away, I crept up behind the Phylake and landed a heavy stealth strike. The blow dealt solid damage, but his health bar was too large for an instant kill.
The Phylake swung back aggressively just as a local rebel joined the clash to draw his attention. With my Overpower meter fully charged, I activated the ability and landed a brutal combo, though the warrior's heavy armor absorbed a huge portion of the damage.
To gain an advantage, I tried backing toward the rebel, only to see a hyena and an enemy soldier attack my ally. I stepped in and eliminated both threats before turning back to the main fight.
Another rebel joined the battle, but as I swung my poison-coated sword at the Phylake, the newcomer stepped directly into my attack arc and died from the toxin spread.
Taking heavy counter-hits from the Phylake, my health dropped dangerously low. Refusing to lose all my progress, I whistled for my mount, jumped into the saddle, and galloped away into the dunes to put distance between us and recover.
I'll show more of my photographic journey of the games soon, so stay tuned to my blog if you liked them.
The screenshots are taken by me personally from my gameplay and I borrowed the game's logo from DevianArt.
