While exploring, I encountered a Zealot named Kendall the Blood Brewer. Hoping to gain Order clues, I engaged him in a tough, high-level duel using fire arrows and special abilities. After dodging his spears and smoke bombs, the game suddenly crashed right as I landed a powerful hit.
I was not looking for a big fight yet, but suddenly I noticed a rider passing me on the road. The game introduced him to me as a Zealot, a warrior who is not a direct Order member, but closely connected to them, meaning that eliminating these Zealots might provide valuable new clues about the main Order members.
This specific hunter was named Kendall, known as a Blood Brewer. I started following him right away, hoping I would be able to find an opening to take him down.
However, there were other enemy soldiers patrolling the nearby area, so I held off on attacking and patiently waited for a better opportunity.
Once it looked like it was just the two of us on the path, I decided to open fire and hit him with an arrow. The Zealot immediately dismounted his horse and threw a heavy spear directly at me. I could not dodge the projectile in time, and the impact knocked me straight off my mount.
I checked his stats and saw that he was power level 90, which was far higher than my current strength. I was not entirely sure I could win the fight, but I decided to try my luck anyway.
It did not take long before I started taking massive damage and losing health rapidly. Realizing I needed to create some space, I activated a special ability to strike him and push him away.
I looked around for a nearby wall or object to smash him into, but finding nothing, Eivor simply shoved him back hard enough to chip away at his health bar.
Since more riders kept passing along the main road, I attempted to lure Kendall away to a safer distance. Suddenly, he hurled another spear toward me, but this time I timed my movement perfectly and dodged out of harm's way.
I backed off and began peppering him with more arrows to deal steady damage from a safe range. In response, the Zealot threw down a smoke bomb to try and gain the upper hand, but his tactic failed as I quickly rushed out of the cloud.
I kept firing arrows while he continued attempting dirty tricks, including using a healing item to restore his health just as I had done earlier.
Once my ability meter filled back up, I executed another special attack. Eivor leapt high into the air and slammed down on the enemy, dealing a huge amount of damage.
Right in the middle of this intense climax, the game suddenly crashed to the desktop. It almost felt as if the game refused to let me kill a Zealot so early in my playthrough, as crashes were otherwise extremely rare for me.
I opened up the game and found him again. This time I made sure to give him a tough fight from my side as I already learned his movements and I took him down real fast.
