At 8:00 AM, I climbed the bridge to save a calling survivor from an attacking infected. After getting rewarded with an exploding knife, I pushed forward across the bridge, using stealth, arrows, and melee combat to eliminate infected.

It was 8:00 AM the next morning, and I decided to climb to the top of the bridge. I recalled hearing a survivor calling out for help during my last run whom I had been unable to assist, so I wanted to see if I could still reach him.

Ignoring the infected milling around the base, I headed straight for the bridge structure, hoping to avoid any Biters or Boosters along the way.

I heard the man's cries echoing across the beams, confirming he was still alive. Countless infected tried to snap at me from below, but fortunately, they could not reach me on the roof of that truck I was at.

I located the survivor and saw that he was not ambushed by human bandits, but rather being eaten alive by a lone infected. I rushed in and took the creature down immediately. Grateful for saving his life, the man handed me an Exploding Knife as a reward, admitting he owed me everything.

As he began walking forward, I tagged along beside him, hoping he might lend a hand against the remaining infected.

A Booster was blocking the path ahead. Realizing a stealth takedown was out of the question, I stepped in front of the survivor and engaged the giant with melee attacks, taking all the hits and dealing all the damage myself to keep the man safe.

Once the Booster fell, the survivor moved away while I pressed further down the bridge. Up ahead, I spotted an infected wandering slightly away from her horde and executed a silent takedown from behind.

Moving into some high grass, I took cover to scan for an opening against a cluster of nearby zombies. Two infected were patrolling close together, and since one refused to turn away, I pulled out my bow and took him down with a clean headshot using the last arrow in my inventory, aiming to retrieve the ammo afterward.

With the first target down, I waited for the right moment and eliminated the second infected in stealth. Sadly, I couldn't retrieve the arrow.

As I was taking down another infected in stealth, my cover did not last long, as two more infected, one exceptionally well-built and heavy, spotted me and charged.

With stealth off the table, I focused my attacks on the heavy brute first, dodging around him until he collapsed. He was fat but not fast so it was not so tough taking him down.

The second enemy, a female infected, rushed in right after, and I smashed her head off with a heavy melee strike. Looking down the span of the bridge, I saw an armored convoy surrounded by a massive horde of infected, providing plenty of targets to clear out as I'd continue across.

I'll show what happens next later.

I personally took all the screenshots from my play and I used a logo of the game from online to use in the thumbnail.
