I spotted a path to cross using my grapple hook to jump between cranes. After eliminating an enemy with my sniper rifle, total chaos erupted. Juan provided air support while I cleared soldiers and boats on the deck. After taking down an enemy lieutenant, Clara flew in for my pickup.
I noticed a cool option to reach the other side of the vessel. My plan was to grapple from my current high point, swinging from one crane over to the next. Before making the leap, I decided to eliminate one of the guards patrolling the deck below using my sniper rifle.
I lined up the shot and took him out quickly, taking care of the initial threat. However, it looked like the other soldiers spotted me right after the shot landed. They immediately raised the alarm and called in heavy reinforcements to secure the area.
Now that stealth was no longer an option, the situation devolved into an all-out firefight. Juan arrived right on cue, flying a chopper overhead to provide essential air support. With his cover fire raining down on the hostile positions, I used my grapple to swing to the other ship, where I felt just like Spider-Man as I moved through the air.
It was a thrilling moment amidst the growing danger. Once my feet hit the deck, I sprinted over to one of their mounted guns and immediately began firing into the incoming waves of soldiers.
Total chaos broke out on the deck as enemies scrambled in every direction, unsure of how to cover their positions under the heavy fire. I focused on taking them down one by one while keeping an eye out for fresh threats.
At one point, Juan blasted a position right next to me, nearly blowing me up along with the targets. The air was thick with smoke, but there were still far more hostiles on this ship than I initially expected.
I continued to move across the deck, laying down constant suppressive fire to keep the enemy forces off balance.
As the battle raged on, an enemy chopper appeared overhead and began targeting Juan's helicopter. Recognizing the immediate threat to our air cover, I shifted my focus to provide air support for him, concentrating my firepower until the enemy chopper was destroyed and crashed out of the sky.
The alarm continued to blare across the vessel as enemy reinforcement boats began pulling up alongside the hull. Juan blasted one of the incoming boats before the soldiers could step onto the deck, helping me control the crowd.
Despite eliminating dozens of hostiles, the battle continued without pause. It seemed like the more enemies we took down, the more kept appearing from the lower decks and surrounding waters.
I pushed forward, clearing out tight corners and taking down soldiers who tried to pin me in place with heavy assault fire. That was when I realized an enemy vanguard lieutenant was still alive on the ship, coordinating the attack against us and keeping the remaining hostiles organized.
I focused all my attention on the lieutenant, engaging him in a final gunfight until he went down. With the officer gone, the remaining enemy resistance crumbled completely.
I thought the fight was finally over, and Juan hovered his chopper nearby as the smoke began to settle. He let me know that the heavy engagement on the ship was finished.
Shortly after, Clara called in over the radio to confirm that she was on her way to pick me up from the vessel. Even though the vessel was heavily damaged, Juan stayed hovering around the deck to ensure the area remained secure until my ride arrived.
How about we continue in another post?
