I engaged enemies immediately, but they noticed a fallen body and grew cautious. After being downed, I changed tactics, took cover, and eliminated them. Unuratu joined me as Lara unlocked the main gate using a serpent head. When enemies attacked, Unuratu was injured, but Lara saved her.
I decided not to wait around this time. Instead of playing it slow, I approached the enemy forces right away to gain an early advantage.
One of the guards spotted a dead body on the ground, which immediately made the whole group cautious. They went on high alert, making stealth far more difficult to maintain.
I attempted to attack them while taking them down one by one in the middle of the confusion. However, they overpowered me and brought me down, proving that my initial approach was far too risky.
Realizing I needed to be much more careful, I quickly adapted my strategy. I lost my patience with stealth and decided to sprint backward to put some distance between us.
I found a solid position behind cover and began to shoot them down as they pressed forward. Opening fire from safety turned out to be the right move, allowing me to clear out the entire group in a short amount of time.
Direct combat proved far more effective than trying to stay hidden. With the path clear, I focused on my primary goal of opening the massive gate standing in our way.
I approached the lever nearby, expecting a complicated puzzle to unlock the entrance. Lara handled the mechanism herself, pulling the lever and opening the gate without needing to solve any intricate puzzles first.
Unuratu and her men arrived shortly after, stepping up to join me in the fight. Her main objective was to push through the area, locate her missing son, and rescue him from danger.
Lara soon reached another gate further along the path. She used a serpent head object to unlock it, making the process much faster and easier than I had initially expected.
Unuratu and her allies continued to follow Lara into the next zone. A fresh wave of enemies appeared to block our progress, prompting Unuratu's men to open fire and quickly bring several hostiles down.
During the intense shootout, Unuratu took hit and was badly injured. I noticed her son was present nearby in the middle of the chaotic crossfire.
One of Unuratu's men was instructed to get the child out of the area safely. As an enemy moved in to attack the injured Unuratu, Lara stepped in, shot the attacker down, and saved her life.
