Cleansing Torii Gates led me through a beautiful rainstorm and a stealthy Rain Walker takedown. After fighting off a graveyard ambush, transferring spirits, and eliminating a Rugged Walker, I planned a rooftop assault to defeat a Shadow Hunter and a Student of Pain before successfully cleansing another Torii Gate.
After cleansing the last Torii Gate, I decided to try cleansing more gates around the map to clear the fogs, and suddenly it started raining, which looked beautiful, casting a slick, reflective sheen over the deserted city asphalt.
While I was moving around the streets, the rain suddenly stopped, and I used my spectral vision to check around for any demons, scanning the neon-lit corridors for the distorted outlines of hostile visitors.
There was this Rain Walker that was checking on a vehicle in a creepy way, and I also went toward him quietly in the creepiest way and took it down in stealth, sneaking directly up behind his umbrella to purge him instantly.
Then I reached this graveyard area where I took down two Rain Walkers that were seen guarding the area. They tried to give me a good fight but they failed.
When I decided to collect the spirits in my Katashiro, I noticed there were more demons guarding this place, and they started attacking me right away, forcing me to abort the absorption process.
After backing up to find a safe spot, I started taking them down one by one. And after I was succeeded, I absorbed all the spirits around, safely sealing the floating souls into the paper charm without further interruption.
Then I was collecting more spirits on my way, but suddenly these Shadow Hunters and a paper doll came out of nowhere. So I had to take care of them first before using a telephone booth to transfer the spirits I was holding.
I reached close to another Torii Gate, but it was guarded by some demons. And when I was looking for an opportunity to get to them quietly, a Student of Pain and Student of Misery noticed me, so they started running toward me, and I had to take care of them real fast.
While I was navigating toward a roof, I suddenly noticed this Rugged Walker was guarding a spirit in that alley. And it was easy to take him down in a stealth and collect the spirit as he was tuned to the other side.
After climbing up on that roof using a ladder, I started planning my strategy about how to attack the demons at the Torii Gate.
After shooting the Shadow Hunter with a fireball, I jumped down and I took him down in a stealth.
I went for a Rugged Walker right away and took him down in a stealth when there was a Student of Pain came to fight me, but I overpowered him.
And at last, I got the opportunity to cleanse this Torii Gate, and there was a bracelet inside the temple waiting for me as a payment of my hard job.
We'll continue in another post.
